Spacious, Sturdy Shelf.

This is an awesome, very sturdy shelf. It looks great in our living room and I have no fear of it falling.Right now it’s holding an Home Theater PC, DVD’s, a cable box, a router, a clock, and a framed photo.We have probably 10 cables running through the cable management section. It’s pretty tight, but it’s working.It was pretty easy to put together by myself. I had it professionally mounted when my TV was mounted, so I can’t speak to how difficult it is to mount.Very pleased with this and I highly recommend it.

All my components fit perfect!!

I ordered this shelf because of the with on the back side and the large shelfs. All my components fit perfect!!! I only needed to fish a few wires through the back of the unit. I actually cut a hole in the wall directly behind the middle shelf and feed all the wires though and back though another hole I made behind the tv. The wires on the “bedroom” side were covered with a painting, that way if I ever need to access the wires all I have to do is grab the painting and i’m there!!!Unit is pretty heavy and would need to be stud mounted. I was able to handle it myself, but I am a big man. Most people would probably need two people for this install.

Nice - No Issues At All With Weight

Before purchasing this unit I saw some displeased customers due to the fact that they had wall damage from where this unit was too heavy for the wall and allegedly couldn’t take the weight it claims: This unit is heavy just by itself. Do not place on just any spot on the wall, ensure you mount it into a stud. If you do that, you’re golden. Absolutely no issues with this unit, works as advertised if mounted properly. Looks nice. Good quality.

While I like the product and had no problem with the installation …

While I like the product and had no problem with the installation I would suggest the mfr. to make certain changes.1. The steel rod should be threaded all the way, allowing to hold the glass partitions while you complete the installation of the wiring.2. Supply better drywall anchors, I used the self taping anchors instead of the one’s provided.3. Be able to buy additional sections and to extend the overall length of the unit.This may require to change how the bracket is installed on the unit.4. Better access to the cables especially on the top shelf.

looked like it had been repackaged and sent out again

poorly packed, Package all busted up, missing washers, had extra nuts, looked like it had been repackaged and sent out again, hard to set up as single person, very heavy, multiple dings on the wood finish, the wrench did not fit the nuts

Component Shelf Mount

It’s easy to assemble and mount on the wall. It’s smaller than I thought it would be. Too small to fit an Onkyo TX-NR 717. The amplifier sticks out about 1.5” to 2”. I measured before I ordered but forgot that you need an 2” behind the amplifier for wiring. It looks great if you have smaller Amplifiers.

Very nice for holding electronic equipment. It is very difficult to compact the wires however. Make sure everything works before finalizing your project.
