Finally, a holster that fits my pistol and light!

After spending the better part of two months looking for a holster that would hold my pistol with a tactical light and wasn’t expensive, I found this! Thank god I found it, because I was about to give up.My pistol:The pistol I’m using for this holster is a Sig Sauer P320 9mm Compact, with medium grips. The light is a Streamlight TLR-2s.Holster:I’m not going to be wearing it around town, just target shooting, camping, and hiking. After 15min to “fit” my pistol and adjust the straps around my leg, it’s pretty comfortable. You can make the holster fit almost ANY pistol! It’s made up of Velcro, heavy duty nylon, and padding, so making it fit your pistol shouldn’t be an issue. If you’re wanting to use this while hunting, I’d caution against it. It does make a slight amount of noise while wearing it. It’s long enough to cover the barrel and the light, but only barely makes it by 1/2in. The mag pouch is nice for being able to carry an extra mag without having something else on your hip.Now for my only personal quirk about the holster:There are ALOT of “arms” of the holster that come together to make the holster work! It’s not a dealer breaker, because my pistol fits in it. But it could get a little cumbersome for a few when adjusting it.I love this holster! I finally found something that would fit my Sig P320, and didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. I would DEFINITELY recommend this holster for anyone that’s looking for a tactical holster and has multiple pistols they’d like to be able to carry.

I have a tactical leg now.

Works well, will update once I put it through actual use hunting. The fit is highly (and easily) customizable. Very thick nylon everywhere. easily adjustable fit. The leg straps have rubberized strips woven into them to prevent slipping, and you can switch the retention closure to either a velcro patch or a snap. I doubt I’ll ever have to buy another one, but I am impressed with the initial quality. I have a number of Condor products now (backpack, pouch, Molle straps, this holster) and the quality is very consistently good. Lots of bang for the buck.Fit: I have a 3.6” barrel, and the holster fits the gun fine, covers the trigger guard (important). There is an internal velcro strap that adjusts for the length of your pistol.UPDATE: After hiking around in the woods, this stayed secure to the fit around my gun, as well as around my leg. There is plenty of extra space in the thigh straps, enough for someone with probably 40+” legs

Nice holster for the cost

You get more than you pay for with this leg holster. Fully adjustable and quality made all for $25 to your door! Hauled around my piece with two mags over 15 miles backpacking. Hardly noticed it. You need to take the time to get the leg straps adjusted properly and then be all set to roll. You can’t beat it.

Meets & exceeds my expectations

(I will come back and edit/update once I can actually put it to use in real-world situation)Condor has always been so good to me. They came through for me again w/ this drop holster. Seriously, I love the Condor brand and it’s general ethic. They create well-made gear that performs and is reliable, yet they don’t charge the absurd prices that some (un-named) companies who produce tacti-cool ‘gear’ that often fails miserably upon being tested in actual life. Caviat emptor.Initially strapping this drop holster on and adjusting fit is simple. The adjustment straps for the leg are extra long - so extra long, in my case, that I had to trim approximately 5” from the lower strap in order to avoid it hanging.I first tried to tuck it in, but no matter how I did, it was either uncomfortable or prone to coming in-tucked. Trimming w/ scissors is easy, and, unless you gain a LOT of weigh, therefore increasing the diameter of your leg, it isn’t an issue. The adjustments for your pistol for size and retention are fairly straightforward. This drop holster easily held a variety of pistol’s in a variety of sizes, from full-sized (Sig Sauer P226), to mid-sized (Glock 19 and Ruger SR9c), and even compact carry pistols (Taurus Millennium G2) and positively retained them, even while upside down and shaken vigorously. All the pistols I tested were incredibly easy to adjust between for size & retention by simply using the straps to take up or let out slack. The top-most straps meet in the middle as a physical strap to retain your firearm w/ a sturdy push snap button. As well as it does retain, it’s not overly hard to release in a quick motion. All in all, I’m initially pretty happy. No complaints now, or anticipated in the future. I can’t wait to actually use it within the next few weeks. There’s been so much practically non-stop rain in my neck of the woods that the ground is saturated and muddy. After it has a chance to seep deeper into the ground and this mud dries up, I’ll get to actually use it.I hope anybody else who buys this drop holster will enjoys it as much as me.

Perfect for my Springfield XD40 4”!!!

I got my holster yesterday and put it to the test right away, perfect for my XD40 service model (4”)! I was concerned about the thumb snap retention strap pushing down on the grip safety, tried it, it doesn’t even come close to it. The leg straps are a bit too long but fixed the problem by folding the excessive part of the straps and taping it with GAFF tape.If you’re going to use the magazine holder/pouch, make sure you don’t jam it in the first time because if not you will tear it, put your mag in gently and leave it there for about 2 hours, after that your mag will slide in perfectly!NOTE: This review is specifically for the Springfield Armory XD40 4” and the 10 rounds magazine.

Great holster

Drop Leg Holster

I have search and purchased many drop holsters trying to find one that does not move when you run. I finally found one. We use this for our 9mm and our 1911’s. It holds very firmly when running jumping or squatting. Very pleased with this.Cons: The wrap in rather small and just barely fits the 1911 as well as the sig sauer P250 but it holds well. It would be nice if the could make the wrap another 2 inches.

Comfortable.

Was easy to adjust and fit to my leg. Holds my Ruger 9mm just fine. Comfortable for long durations as well.

I love this holster. It’s great for all of my pistols.

DOESN’T CUT IT

I had very high hopes for this thigh rig. Its mostly well built except for one deal breaker…….. the clip on the strap that goes around your leg is poor quality, so when you…

Great holster for the money.

Not sure why so many have trouble adjusting this. Undo all the velcro layers, place your pistol in place, slide it out slightly (18 inch), and start rewrapping the layers…

Great I like it

Would buy again if I had two guns and was left handed

Works nicely it’s a good thigh holster

Meh…

Has some issues holding a sig tacops 1911. If the thumb break is where it should be on the gun, the trigger is completely exposed.

More bulky than expected.

Thus product was a lot more bulky and complicated to put on than expected. I returned the item.

Three Stars

It’s ok for the price
