This is a great set that has a large selection of versatile building blocks, 2x4 2x2 and 1x2, which seems to be difficult to find in other current lego sets. The block breakdown is on the bottom of the box and I have included it since it hasn’t been posted on Amazon yet.

Great set, comes in a cardboard box

Great set, comes in a cardboard box, not any time of long term storage solution. I included pictures of the parts list because I would have loved access to them before I ordered. I needed a bulk of just bricks, no windows or wheels and tires, this set was just what I wanted.

Best Lego Purchase Ever!

I’ve bought many different sets and classic boxes of Legos, but I never seem to have enough standard bricks in the right colors to build anything on my own in a color scheme that isn’t hazardous to your health. This set is perfect! It only has standard bricks and plates, in a good variety of colors. I had more than enough blocks to produce several different creations at once. My only problem now is that some of those bricks are tied up in creations I don’t want to dismantle, so I may have to come back to buy another set for play.

Best bang for your buck

Best bang for your buck, in my opinion. Bought on Amazon for $60. My 3 year old daughter, who has started showing interest in building with regular sized legos LOVES this lego set. We love that it comes with the cards that show simple projects to build. I initially bought her a different lego set and she wanted to play with it but didn’t quite know what to build without those instruction cards. Would highly recommend this set!

Legos as they were meant to be!

This is the PERFECT Lego set for those of us who grew up with an assortment of Lego pieces in a box. This was the kit that finally pulled my kids away from the mentality of “we must follow the assembly instructions” to more free-form play and building. Yay!The only way this set could be better is if it included even more pieces, and possibly some longer blocks. Be aware that the box is not suitable as a container, so you’ll need something else for long-term Lego storage.

Perfect Starter Set!

We bought this for a friend’s child. I bought from the open box deals so the packaging was damaged but the product inside was fine. This is a great starter set for younger kids. I suggest getting a separate container to contain the Legos after play. No one likes stepping on Legos.

This is an excellent starter kit. There are lots of basic pieces, and the idea cards are great. My daughter loves it. This is a great value!

I liked the set of cards that show exactly what pieces are needed to build an object. My grandchildren, ages 5-8, stayed busy all weekend. Soon, they began to create objects of their own design.I would have liked this set to come with its own storage box with a snap on lid.

It’s soooo hard to find a set of just regular Lego building blocks! Most everything you find is a set with all sorts of specialty pieces but almost no standard building blocks.

Great addition to our lego bucket

Love all the colors and shapes of these. The building cards were fun to see and our 5 year old grandson immediately built all the creations suggested.
