Fogs horribly unless…

As many people have commented, this mask has horrible fogging problems if you don’t get all of the coating off the inside of the lens before you use it. My standard mask cleaning procedure using toothpaste and simple green failed to remove the coating. The first time I used the mask, the anti fog drops beaded off the glass, and the mask fogged up completely in about a minute. I finally managed to remove the coating with Barkeeper’s Friend (a paste of dish soap and baking soda would probably work as well). The picture shows where I missed some spots (note how the water is pulled back from the edges). If you clean the mask, and water still beads off the inside of the lens rather than flowing across it smoothly, you haven’t gotten all the coating off.

Exceeded my expectations, looking forward to using it for snorkeling.

This mask is amazing, especially for the price. Improvements would be if they included a lower-profile case which would make more sense for a frameless mask, and the fit below the nose by the mouth could be better. Other than that this thing is super comfortable, provides a great wide and clear field of view.Using barkeeper’s friend on the inside of the glass is the best way to remove the silicone residue (a lighter can damage the silicone). I don’t even need to use defogger after removing the silicone residue, no fogging at all!

Not too flexible overall, but surround is flexible and fits wide face!

I just got these, and actually haven’t gone in the water with them yet, but I had posted a question about whether they would fit a really wide face, which has always been a problem for me. Anyway, so I went ahead and took a chance, and ordered a pair of the clear one, and it just got here, and I tried them on.These are frameless, so i thought the whole mask would flex, but that is not the case. I guess that the actual lens is still, so the whole thing won’t flex. However, I found that the rubber surround part was quite flexible, and they fit me quite well, and they produce quite a vacuum, so I think they will work fine for me.The googles come in a sturdy, reuseable clear hard case with two latches, so make it safe to pack for our trip.I know that most of that description is kind of abstract. Sorry, but it’s the best I can do to describe it.

High quality Cressi

These goggles are great. I bought them when my other non-Cressis strap snapped. I travel a lot to tropical areas and love to swim, and I know that Cressi is a high quality brand. These stay on the face well and are not uncomfortable; the rubber is very soft. I’ve only worn it once since I received it but will be wearing again soon.

Love this mask

Love this mask, fits like a glove and the strap does not have to be very tight to keep water out. Unlike my other masks where the regular bubbles would somehow cause slight leaks in the bottom this one I didn’t even notice any leaks at all. Very easy to see out of and is so low profile I don’t even notice any water pushing on it when I am swimming at a faster clip through the water unlike my old large volume frame mask. Very easy to clear with no water left over to sit by your nose, everything seems to drain out quickly, no ridges to hold water until you seal it back up and realize you still have a few tablespoons of water left. This mask fits my face great, I have a smaller face, eyes are closer together than most people. If you have a large face this might not work well for you because of the size.

A very fine mask

This mask is excellent. I collect scuba masks and i love the thick mask strap for it’s secure fit. New scuba masks need to be prepped with a Bic lighter to get rid of the coating. Just hold the flame up to the inside of the lens and you can see the coating burn off. Then use Sea Buff to clean off the residue while your rinsing it off. You may need to burn it 2 or 3 times to completely clear it and use diluted baby shampoo for a defog.

These are actually better than I expected

These are actually better than I expected, for the low price. Nice field of view, easy to clear, no leaking on my high cheekboned, bigger head/wider face. None of my gear matches colors, but who cares? I’m diving, not going to an underwater fashion show.

No fogging issues here

Decided to leave a review for these just to say i experienced no fogging issues whatsoever. Bought these so my wife could practice snorkeling before a trip to hawaii. Loved them so much i ended up taking them with me. Not once before or during the trip did these goggles fog up on me. Not sure what the issue is with other users, but it’s definitely not universal. I cleaned thoroughly with the toms’s toothpaste we had on hand. Then before every use i gave the glass a quick spitshine and rinse in the water. The fit is comfortable and the field of view is excellent. Really enjoyed snorkeling with these.

Excellent mask, would recommend it to everyone maybe not the pink but I think it’s the best scuba mask I have ever tried. Everything looks so clear in it and it’s just amazing.
