Deep stop can be turned on or off. Visual and auditory alarms. Built-in calendar and clock. Backlit display. Made in Italy.
The 3 buttons computer Giotto by Cressi will provide all the necessary information in regards to depth, dive times, possible need of decompression, ascent rate and all the surface intervals between dives. Nitrogen absorption and release is continuously processed by its sophisticated software, taking into account the quantity of inert gas contained in the different mixtures that can be used. This information is shown on the device’s display thanks to the PCD (Priority Compartment Digit Display) system that allows an easy and direct “dialogue” between the diver and the computer, ensuring a clear understanding of all the data needed at any given time and a perfect readability in any situation. The computer is provided with clock, chronograph and calendar and a versatile dive memory (logbook). The mathematical model of Giotto can make saturation and desaturation calculations of dives carried out both with air and with Nitrox in any moment of the dive. In this last case you can set all the parameters related to the mixture of our dive: from the maximum allowed PO2 value (between 1.2 bar and 1.6 bar), to the mixture’s oxygen percentage (FO2): between 21% and 99% of O2. Additionally, the device may be set by the user for either metric (m-ºC) or feet system (ft-ºF). Giotto dive computer can be connected to a personal computer.
A good easy to use dive computer. The light and alarm are hard to see and hear during the dive. Once submerged the view is sometimes hard to read b/c of water under the protective screen. But overall this is a good entry level dive computer. It’s meeting all my dive needs.
This is my first dive computer. I’ve been diving for 15 years as a casual/recreational diver, doing one trip a year or so. After getting Nitrox certified, I decided it was time to get a multi-gas computer and after some research and talking to the experts at the local dive shop, chose the Giotto.I used this computer exclusively on a week-long dive trip, doing 18 dives over the course of almost 6 days. The computer performed well. The interface is fairly intuitive and the three button controls make it easy to navigate. I had trouble figuring out how to create a dive plan, and will have to refer back to the instruction manual. This was the one thing that was not intuitive. However, during a dive, all the critical information is on the screen: depth, max depth, bottom time, no decompression time and so forth. After a dive it displays the surface interval and saturation time, as well as a no-fly indicator.A couple of things that I was less than thrilled about:-the battery was a little difficult to locate (CR2430) and after a few stops, I found a spare at a specialty shop-the wrist strap is huge; had to cut off two inches so it wouldn’t overlap the computer face when it was on my wrist-couldn’t figure out how to turn the light on during a night dive and had to reference the computer with a flashlight. this should really be more intuitive.-as previously mentioned, couldn’t figure out how to program a dive plan without referencing the instruction manualI do wish it had the option to add a wireless integrated air monitor, but when I get to that point, I’ll probably sell this and upgrade to a new computer.Other than these things, it’s a well-constructed computer that is good for entry level divers, and supports multiple gas mixtures.I look forward to many years of diving with it.
loved iT!!!!!!!
just perfect
Easy to use I also Owned Suunto Zoop,The cressi looks better and easier to use.
Excellent product, it’s very user friendly, I haven’t use it yet on the water, but so far it was a good choice, also very beautiful
Excellent!
Very nice dive computer! I used it recently during 8 dives in Cozumel and it performed w/o a hitch. I need to spend a little more time studying all the functions but the face is easily readable (I normally wear readers) through my non-prescription lens. The safety-stop calculator is very nice.
Great dive computer. Easy instructions.
I bought these to dive in Belize at the Blue Hole for our honeymoon. We dove twice along the reef before our big dive a week later. They worked great! I loved the large display.
Excellent product
Great product!! Relatively easy to use.
Very disappointed in this dive computer. WAY too big!
Great watch! Used it to do my advanced open water certification. Performed flawless for 6 dives over the weekend.
Fast and efficient, Love this little thing!!
It does everything for me allowing me more time to dive and less time planning and calculating. Its easy to use with only one button and easy to read with its giant screen.
Best bang for your money! Very happy with this product :) Strong and sturdy built, precise and easy to use.
