So disappointed.
0 star. I received it today and used it twice, the next thing I knew, it melted. So disappointed.
It’s a good starter tool if you don’t think you’ll use it …
This tool gets the job done, but I guess you pay for what you get. The attachment at the nozzle melted on mine about 5 uses in (over a couple weeks.) I wouldn’t have even noticed, which is kind of the scary thing. It developed this big bump on the plastic so I just took it off, maybe I was supposed to to begin with, I don’t know. Now the metal nozzle sits almost against the body though because the pegs inside that hold it center have kind of melted too. It’s a good starter tool if you don’t think you’ll use it on a daily basis, but more than that, I would get something sturdier.
Stopped working as soon as it started😳
The moment I switched it on.. It started smoking. I had read the manual so knew this was normal but within 3-4 seconds of switching it on, it went off on its own and never came back on again. I live in india and had bought this item on a holiday to the US and there’s no way i can do anything about it now unfortunately. Extremely bummed out coz now I have all these embossing powders and no heat tool!
Highly recommended
I use mine to fast dry finish I put on my wood turnings, especially when I apply wood dye. It drys it off much quicker than the old hair dryer I was using. I plan to use it for other uses as they come to me. I love the quiet operation. It doesn’t blow like a hair dryer so, if you’re working with something that you don’t want blown all over the place, this is heating what you want to heat without forced air movement.
Does the job of larger heat guns at 1⁄3 the size.
I use this tool primarily for heat shrink tubing and unlike my larger heat gun, its a lot easier to control thanks to its compact size and light weight. Best of all the outside plastic nozzle stays cool to the touch so no more burnt fingers like with the larger gun I have with its metal nozzle.
Perfect for electronics
I got this for heat-shrink tubing for electronics projects. It is perfect for this use - it is small, fits easily on my desk and heats up fast. It delivers much more concentrated heat than a traditional heat-gun so it wont affect other surrounding parts as much. It is easy to hold and maneuver around parts. Highly recommended for people doing electronics.

No more fooling around with lighters and flames to melt heat-shrink on wires when I’m working on boats/cars and around the house. I love this little thing - it works well and gets good and hot, and I don’t have to worry about melting wires, solder, or connectors anymore.
Nice and hot! Perfect or embossing!
This is perfect for my art room. This heats up very quickly and is perfect for embossing or drying watercolors during a project.The cord is fairly long and the stand is nice to support it on the table. It does exactly what it should at a reasonable price.
Good, just smells
This is great for embossing, does exactly what I need! My only small complaint is that for the first several uses, it stunk with a “melting plasticy” smell.
Heating to the point of melting!
I used this for maybe three shrink bags, the tool began to melt the plastic on the nozzle and the plastic inside keeping the pieces together began to heat up and move around.
Overheated! Almost caught fire
I used this twice…it worked just fine. The third time it heated up and started smoking, the fan blower was not working. I now need to return to the manufacturer.
