Slow leaks with patches

The tools are handy but the glueless patches are not very good quality and don’t hold for long. I’ve ended up repairing the same puncture three times only to replace the tube because air managed to leak out anyway. I’ve never had this problem with the tradition glued-on patches, but I can’t seem to find those anymore.UPDATE: The patches in this kit are really not worth anything. They are completely useless. I tried to patch the same puncture three times and ended up replacing the tube because the air kept escaping. Then I had a puncture on another tube, “fixed” it with one of these glueless patches, only to find the tube flat again. Thankfully it was a slow leak, so I was able to get home before the tube went completely flat. I finally got some proper patches at my local bike stores, you know, the ones that require glue, and I fixed the puncture for real. I am so sick of repeatedly trying to fix punctures with these useless patches. If you want the tools, fine, but if you’re thinking you’ll need to use the patches to repair your tube, forget about. They do not work.

Handy Bike Repair Kit

I gave this as a gift to a friend who had just taken up the sport of cycling and they love it. It has everything you would find in a basic repair kit for cycling. It is awesome as a stocking stuffer or if you are looking for something for a cycling starter kit. Multi-tool functions well and pivots without issues. Thankfully have not had to use the patches yet, but everything arrived in great condition.

outer six angle flat wrenches and RASP are awful

You get almost all you need. The outer six angle flat wrenches are awful. It can grab nothing. Purchased another wrench to do these tasks. What you expect for this price? By the way, find a better RASP by yourself. The one in the pack is AWFUL too.

The tool for removing the bolt from the tire is useless. It only fits onto 50% of the bolt, and slips off if you apply any pressure. This would be a major problem if you were actually trying to patch a flat on the road. The other tools seem fine, and the tire levers worked for the job without breaking. I’ve never patched an inner tube before, and there are no instructions in the pack, but I figured it out in the end. I wouldn’t have paid more than the $10 that this kit cost though.
