Awesome charger and batteries

I’m a plumber. This is so convenient to charge four batteries at once. It’s big and very sturdy. It’s a very professional quality tool. The extra batteries are great especially the 6.0 60/20vt it lasts forever.

Five Stars

THIS CHARGING & POWER STATION IS A GREAT COMBO, AND USEFULL

Great as a multi-battery charger, don’t use much for a power source, but good in an emergency.

If you have and use as many Dewalt tools as I do, you need this mainly for the fact that it charges 4 batteries at once. To that end, its a little pricey for a charger, but every once in awhile, the power goes down on the jobsite, and this can keep your crew running for a little bit longer. With 4 x 5ah 20v batteries, you have 20ah of power so it should run a compressor or a couple of saws for at least an hour which can be a lifesaver. I intend on upgrading to the 60v batteries once the 9ah ones come out, and that should almost double that power time…again I mostly use it to charge all the batteries at once to make sure we have as little downtime as possible and this thing kicks butt at that!

Thousand bucks for a pot of coffee!!!!!!

I really wanted this charger/ power source to work. I bought 3 more of the 6 amp-hour 60 volt battery packs and headed up the mountain. 10K up and hoping to have a quiet 4 days of work with minimal generator use. Framing interior walls and installing the electrical service and distribution on a newly built on-slab cabin of about 1600 square feet. Before going up the hill I tried a couple of tools with the unit to make sure it would work. Off the bat it would not fire up my IR stand-up 15 amp compressor but my dewalt 200psi model with single tube could charge up but not enough juice to sound right. So I knew I would have to run my generator quite a bit while framing.4 of the 6 amp-hour batteries in series should have given me some juice???? Was it the 10K elevation? To make a long story short it would only run a Milwaukee hole hawg for about 12-15 holes and the same time as running a 300 watt halogen lamp. For a thousand bucks that is a joke. Maybe it was the elevation? So for three of the 4 days I did not use the thing just grumbled over the waste of money. On day 4 I figured I would at least make a pot of coffee with the thing. That was all it would do. After running the water through to my surprise the thing started flashing and beeping it was about to die!!!!!!!
