Product Reviews

Digimon world 1 true successor

This game is great if your a fan to digimon the first game, and it was a vita game but the graphics have been done great on the ps4 and the music is a throw back to the first game, and i absolutely loved the retro v pet pvp.

Both nostalgic and innovative

Absolutely love this game. I admit, the first one made me want to break my PlayStation years ago. But I love that way you raise your digimon affects how they evolve. It brings a very personal touch to the franchise that not all games have. There are a lot of new features in Next 0rder that make the process almost too easy (a bathroom in the gym, a lab that gives you evo prerequisites, etc). However these features save a lot of time and allow the player to accomplish more and take the game further. My lack of one star is only because DORUmon isn’t currently in the game.

Love digimon

Love digimon and played the first digimon world way back in the day. Could never beat it. This one was fun and had a decent story!

Setup Sucks

I have played almost all the digimon games, and pretty much loved them, then I got this game. The way the evolution system setup is by far the worst setup of all the digimon games I have played. You have little to no control how your digimon digivolve. The battle system has response issues, it doesn’t respond to diagonal directions, so its easy to select the wrong attacks.

So fun and made me think. Nice game for people who like strategic games

Really fun game, took forever to beat, but after three months, finally completed it. If you are new to RPGs, I recommend you play something else first because this game is rather complicated with all the detailed fighting it has you go through. Always been a big Digimon Fan, and this surely is one of the best games in the digimon series thus far, right next to Dawn and Dusk.

Hubby and I loved this game

Hubby and I loved this game. It was so much fun to play. I love being able to help my digimon grow and get stronger. It was a lot of fun trying to figure out who they would become and making bets on it.

Its good to be back.

Improves on the classic DW1 formula in nearly every way possible. Plus this is actually the Japanese “International Edition” with added content and a fancy new paint job (they’ll be getting it later this month for the Vita, us Westerners will have to be happy with just the PS4 version). If you liked World 1, or played Re:Digitize or its 3DS enhanced port then you’ll LOVE this release. Just go for it - help show Bandai there is still a market and fan base for these games!

Brings back memories of the original Digimon World for PS1. I’m in love with this game. I get lost in it for hours, telling myself I’ll stop after one more in-game day. Highly recommended if you enjoy Digimon!

Five Stars

Excellent game

Overall a good and fun game.

It was a little challenging to get used to at first, but as the game progresses it is a lot of fun. I would highly recommend to any Digimon fan!

Five Stars

Just like the classic ps1 game but with new things and remastered

Five Stars

This game is awesome!

Five Stars

If you played the original on PS1 and loved it, you’ll fall in love again with Next Order!

Two Stars

Having to re-raise your Digimon every time is tedious and honestly breaks the entire flow of the game.

Five Stars

A digimon game for digimon fans.

Straight Garbage

Not a fan at all. You spend hours training up your Digimon just for it to die 20 days (Game Time) and have to start all over again.

Great!

I’ve never played Digimon before but was very suprised. There are some features I don’t like but there are a lot of great ones.

Five Stars

Back to my childhood!
