Eventually, It worked.

First unit received from “Dinger” was intermittent but mostly did not work at all. After numerous emails to and from their VERY-poor customer service, we were granted a replacement. The replacement does work. But the repeated explanations, endless (wrong) technical excuses necessary to get a replacement, and hassles with returns – keep this from being a higher rating for the “Dinger HDMI Switch.”

Works well so far. I ordered this one because of the great price and how easy it is to switch between the two. Doesn’t require outside power (I use one port for a Samsung Blu-ray player and the other port for a Wii U) and I didn’t want an extra remote just to switch between setups. Does the job and I’m happy about it. Four stars because the lights (which are blue) are glaringly bright in the dark when watching a movie. I had to cover them with tape just to dull the brightness.

lost my patience looking for an electronic HDMI switch that worked with 4K, so I settled on this and I’m glad I did. Can now switch my firetv from my office with the 4k TV to my HDMI matrix for 1080p in my living room and bedroom and it works great. Feels like it’s well made.

Excellent purchase

Had to set up computer to use the monitor or the TV (for games). Discovered that all HDMI splitters do not work the same. Needed device that worked with one input and two outputs. This device is bi-directional so it could be used if I had two inputs and one output.

It’s a great solution to the switch between my Amazon Fire Stick and DVR on the same TV. I don’t have to plug and pull my hdmi input back and forth. It’s a great job. I can also use him at work, I work in the supermarket. Very good product

Love it

Works great! Switches between my personal MacBook Pro and Work HP laptop. I use two of of these as I have a dual display set up. Photos attached. I also used a similar USB device so only one keyboard/mouse for both computers is needed.

Provide additional HDMI slot for my TV!

This is a simple and easy solution if you found that you are running out of HDMI slots in your TV. My husband had two game consoles, a connection to his Desktop computer. Now, only one HDMI slot left for my Fire TV stick and TV show box. This HDMI switch is exactly what I need to solve this issue. It is easy to use, just connect and work as expected. Recommend to others who run out of HDMI slots in your TV!

Works perfectly

My only complaint, and the reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 stars, is that the LED lights are blindingly bright. I had to put electrical tape over them. When I was hooking it up, I saw spots in front of my eyes for a while afterwards.

Don’t buy it if you are connecting DVR to it …

Don’t buy it if you are connecting DVR to it. I tried different methods by connecting Verizon DVR to this switch and it’s just not working with my TV. I’m returning it.
