Beware of DJI Customer Service

As the title states, please beware of DJI customer service and support for their products. I bough the Mavic Pro Fly More Combo on August 6th, 2017. The drone required an update before it would allow me to fly. Right out of the box, the drone would not update at all. The controller would not connect to the drone. DJI customer service had me connect the drone and controller to my laptop. By this method, it was found the controller software had no version installed, meaning it had not software installed. DJI customer service would not send a replacement controller (the only piece not functioning) and required me to send the entire drone and package back. In a customer service move, in my opinion to save a few dollars, DJI sent me a return label for the slowest service possible. It took over a week to arrive at DJI in California. As of August 30th, 2017 DJI has not sent a new replacement unit. DJI also cannot give me any time estimate of when one may be shipped. I also asked for a full refund so that I could purchase a new unit and save time. DJI denied the request for a refund. I cannot recommend any DJI products based on their lack of customer service and support. 4 weeks without a product, that never worked, that cost $1,300, and that is not immediately replaced is unacceptable.
