Finally… This motion detector actually works well …

Finally… This motion detector actually works well with wink. It is accurate, fast, and blows the others out of the water.My go control motion detector is the opposite. It doesn’t read but made once every 10 minutes. It makes it worthless for setting up automations.I plan on ordering more once my budget allows

They detect motion. They talk to my Wink 2 hub without any issues. Well made, and they have this cool little detachable magnetic base that allows you to put them just about anywhere. Dome products are generally high quality, and I’m very happy with the purchase.

Best of the Z-Wave motion detectors I’ve used so far

Best of the Z-Wave motion detectors I’ve used so far. Fast reaction, and almost every aspect of timing is configurable (repeat sends, dead time after detection, time until off, etc.). Also inconspicuous and a great mounting system. Love it! Doesn’t seem very sensitive to reporting light (reporting 0 under most indoor lighting conditions), but I don’t care about that feature so no big deal to me.

not bad if you are into dimples

Do not bother. The only difference between this thing and Zooz Motion/Light sensor ($33 here on Amazon) is dimples around the body. This comes out to be roughly $1 per dimple. Of course, not bad if you are into dimples.As far as the internals are concern, Dome and Zooz sensors are the same, including firmware and more importantly, bugs is firmware.I originally purchased Zooz and the seller, after two rounds of replacements, sent me the Dome sensor. However, the latter has the same problem as the Zooz sensors. At the end of no-motion timeout period, the device sends No-Motion message (as expected) but then, it immediately follows with Motion-Detected message, and the whole sequence repeats several times. I tried the sensors with Smartthings v2 and Homeseer; and clearly, the issue is not controller-related.I called Dome. After a couple of days, their tech support emailed me and originally, it looked like they were interested in resolving the issue. However, after a few email exchanges, Dome apparently moved to more important things.
