Don’t get your lawn mower angry
Don’t use these sanding bands to sharpen rotary lawn mower blades. They quickly wear out and only make the lawn mower angry. On the other hand, you can use them to trim down the nails on a dog, provided you do it on low speed and with a lot of patience. Unlike using scissor-type nail clippers, these sanding disks slowly take off the nail and won’t hurt your dog. Go slowly, so the nails don’t get hot and stop frequently to prevent hitting the quick, that is, the nail bed to which the nails are attached. I imagine there are a lot of other uses for these sanding bands, but lawn mower blades and dog nails are the extent of my creativity.
Save your self some $$$$
I have 5 dogs and volunteer for 3 rescues I can have up to 8-10 dogs at my home. I can’t believe how much money I have saved on nail trims at the groomers because of this tool. The bands last too! I have recommended this tool to others. My dogs hate the clippers normally used for nail trim and this tool is quiet and they don’t mined the little noise that it makes. Introduce it slowly to your dog set out for them to smell and wait. Turn it on and let them adjust to the noise before you use it on them.
Apparently good for chewing on.
Got these for the Dremel I use to grind my dog’s nails. Never got a chance to use them because he found the package and chewed them up first. No clue how he knew what they were for (he never chews on things he’s not supposed to) but he foiled me again. On the plus side, the sanding band did a number on his tartar–especially the molars. A++ would buy again
Work well with Dremel 7300-PT for our dog’s nails
We get these for use with the Dremel 7300-PT 4.8V Pet Nail Grooming Tool. These are priced right and we can use them a number of times before replacing. They work well on our dog’s nails and save us money having to get his nails trimmed at the groomer.
Longer lasting than the cheap no-name brands.
This is a review of Dremel 432 1⁄2-Inch 120 Grit Sanding Bands, 6 pack.I have purchased the cheaper no-brand versions of these sanding bands and have learned my lesson. The cheaper no-brands just don’t last as long as the Dremel version. I use these primarily for grinding my dog’s nails. They least me a long time. I’ll stick with the Dremel version.

Perfect replacement bands for use of Dremel’s dog claw grinding tool. Of course you can also use these bands for wood and stuff, but for us it’s a K-9 accessory!
Great for filing dogs nails
I use these to file down my dogs nails. You have to use it for a few seconds at a time or it will heat up. They last so long! I bought a 6 pack of these about 3 years ago and still have not needed to buy more.
Really nice sander
I got that Paw Dremel and these are replacements for that tool. I file down my dog’s nails and it works super, super good! Great actually. To get her used to it, I turned it on and let her hear it. Then I turned it off and let her smell it and lick it. Then I turned it on and did one of her nails to let her see that it won’t hurt her. From then on I am able to tell her to come let’s do your nails and she comes to me and I file all of her nails. It’s pretty cool. I like how these file grinders work on her nails. Highly recommend.
