Like a hot knife through butter.
This metal grinding wheel is a bit on the expensive side, but they’re one of the best accessories you can buy for a rotary tool. I’ve used them on metals ranging from brass to steel. The metal just disappears effortlessly. So far the grinding wheel shows no wear, so I expect it to last a long time. Overall, I’m very happy with it.Be aware that it’s only 1.5” in diameter, so if you need to cut through more than half an inch, you’ll want something bigger.
GREAT FOR SMALL JOBS
These are great for small jobs. I have been using the cutting wheels to do my grinding so it was nice that they came out with these for smoothing things out and not wearing out in just a few minutes. Quality product, fast shipping, and fair pricing. Perfect sale if you ask me. Thank you Amazon.com.
Great little grinding wheel
I have been a faithful Dremel user for many years, and have been using the smaller grinding wheels for spots where my 4 1⁄2” grinder cannot fit. I mainly use these for weld prep and material removal on vehicles.These wheels do a good job and seem to last pretty long,These EX Lock wheels are great since they offer a tool less change!Wish they sold these wheels in a 10 or 12 pack though…
SO MUCH better than the regular, easy to break wheels.
Made short work of 3 rusted out bolts that regular cutting wheels couldn’t handle at all. Just have to be careful not to heat them up too much or they will separate from their locking collar. I killed two of these wheels in cutting those bolts, but that’s a lot better than the 20+ regular wheels I burned through (with almost NO progress) before I got these.

Grinds well, center metal piece falls out before disc wears out.
The work great but I wish they were thicker and the center metal spindles would stop loosening and falling out.
