This product works great and was easy to install. Settings are simple, but the instruction sheet has to be obtained through email.Here’s the abbreviated version to help those in need:Power off the unit, press the only button on the thing, and power it back up. Continue to hit the button until you reach the correct settings for your battery. Power off the unit, and power on the unit. Done.These are the different settings:Lead-acid batteries: 1P = 12V, 2P = 24V, 3P = 36V, 4P = 48VLithium-ion batteries: 3c = 3 cells, 4c = 4 cells, …, 15c = 15 cells
Should include instructions.
A nice item, but it didn’t come with instructions. After emailing the seller (they did include an email address) I got the instructions and then was able to have the device work properly. The one-sheet I instructions should be included in the package. A prior reviewer told how to access the settings. For reference, for lead-acid batteries the settings are 1P - 12 volt, 2P - 24 volt, 3P - 36 volt and 4P - 48 volt.
small but good display
very small but it is accurate as far as I can see so far only bench tested it now the install. So if you are looking for a small battery level indicator this is the trick. There is a push-switch on the back Here is what it doesThe usage for the push button on the back of the unit is as follow:Under the condition of power off, long-press the button on the back of the module (do not release) and power up the module.The monitor will display the battery specification, then press the button again to choose the battery specification.After choosing the specification you need, cut off the power and then power up the module again. The adjustment is finished.Hope this can help you.
The device is nice and functions well
The device is nice and functions well. My CONSTANT COMPLAINT however with almost everything I get either directly from China or is manufactured in China is this……….WHY IS IT THAT THERE IS ALMOST N E V E R ANY INSTRUCTIONS. I’d gladly pay the extra 1 cent it would cost me if the manufacturer would put a least 1 piece of paper on how to set up the toggle switches (or whatever.!!) so that it doesn’t take an hour of internet searches to figure out how. And the irony is…… there is almost ALWAYS an instruction guide on the internet…… PLEASE—JUST PRINT IT OFF AND INCLUDE IT WITH PRODUCT….!

Very nice and useful meter
Real nice product, shows battery status for my off grid solar install. Very accurate and extremely low current consumption especially given the bright display. Highly recommended.
Don’t know how I did without .
If you’re running a trolling motor on a kayak or canoe this is a must have. It’s inexpensive and accurate,easy to install. I bugged alligator clips on longer wires just clip them to my posts and I can use it on different batteries. Takes the guesswork out of power remaining,I don’t want to be left paddling for the shore.
You need this!
I love this thing. I used it on my ham radio batteries and I’ve even used it on my car battery. Much better than guessing like I used to do.
