Anti-chaffing: moisture absorbing polymers isolate excess moisture, protecting delicate skin against the chamois
Chaffing is chaffing, no matter what your anatomy. Whoever thought that women cyclists don’t suffer similar friction issues as their male counterparts? The answer is, nobody even thought about it until now: DZ Nuts Bliss Women’s Chamois Cream has arrived, ladies. And now we can all heave a sigh of relief. Scientifically formulated to soothe women’s sensitive skin in the nether regions, the pro-grade chamois cream provides the ultimate protection even for top level training and racing. Nothing can ruin a ride faster than chaffed skin which gets rawer and rawer with every pedal stroke. Bliss Women’s Chamois Cream works to take care of old sores while preventing new irritations. The cream’s anti-bacterial properties not only reduce the chances of infection, but they promote healthy skin by strengthening the skin’s biological defenses against infection. It boasts moisture absorbing polymers which are designated to alleviate the level of dampness next to your skin, thereby reducing the likelihood of friction developing. And for those adventuresome ladies who have used non-lady specific chamois creams in past, you can say goodbye to that somewhat unpleasant cool, tingling sensation. Getting out of the saddle while heading into a cold wind will no longer feel like you’ve sat down in an icy stream. DZ Nuts Bliss Women’s Chamois Cream substantially reduces that itchy, prickly feeling even when your latest wax job begins to wear off. If you didn’t already love Dave Zabriskie for his dour, irreverent media persona, you will love him and his company for thinking intimately of the ladies in the audience.
I like this chamois cream, but I don’t love it. DZNuts Bliss does not prevent saddle sores for me, but it does help alleviate existing ones. This only works for me post-ride. I do like the thickness and how moisturizing the cream is. I just wish it was effective during rides. Some other reviewers have reported a tingling sensation when using this product - I do not experience that. It just feels like lotion. I will probably try other brands when this runs out.
PROS:This is a fantastic product and I highly recommend it to anyone who spends hours in the saddle or rides on really hot days when sweat and irritation can occur. It’s not messy, has a cooling/tingle effect. Personally I find it more sanitary than the jars. It can easily be removed from ride clothing. Can apply directly to high friction skin areas or directly to chamois. I’ve tested this on about 200 miles and no complaints. Does not dry out and crack like some other products.CONS: Stay clear of open wounds/sever razor burn and “personal bits” or you may experience a slight burning sensation. It does subside after a couple of minutes.
This product really helped me when I biked the Allegeny Passage (150 miles). On other long bike trips, I had issues with butt pain and this completely eliminated it. I put it on in the morning and I was good for the entire day of biking. I was especially pleased, as I have a lot of skin allergies, and this didn’t bother me at all. I now use this for every bike ride.
Works are prescribed. Heard about from my doctor who is an avid cyclist. I did not experience any of the menthol tingling that other brands have. It is different than the men’s - which has some tingling. I like this product a lot and do not go to spin or cycle outdoors without. I load up my chamois - please note regardless of what anyone says, you do not wear underwear with cycling shorts. Keep the undies away and use the above and you will have a better experience. No more saddle soars.
I tried this based on the recommendation of some of my male cyclist friends. I don’t think it lubes as well as other chamois cream products I have used. It does have a little tingling sensation upon first applying, but nothing off-putting. I will not be re-purchasing.
I reallly like the Bliss and I am not a female. I tried the other DZ Nuts and it was a little too potent (Ie BURNED.) I MUST ADMIT I DID GO FASTERsince I was trying to cool my lower anatomy off!!! I use to use Belgium Butter but I cannot find it anymore. Bliss is the way to go regardless of gender.
Pricey, but good stuff
Helps keep saddle sores at bay.
Just what we girls need
Love it
