Style:6” White L-Bracket Elite Screens L-Brackets are the perfect solution when flush mount installations are not possible. This L-bracket provides a 6” clearance.
These brackets served the exact purpose of what I needed. Unlike other reviewers, I had no problem using all the provided hardware. The drywall anchors worked fine for me. Ive attached two pictures to show my install
Did what I needed it to do, which was to allow a 100” pull down screen in front of a wall mounted plasma and also to lower the screen because I am only seated 10’ from the screen. I took away one star because the included fasteners didn’t give me too much confidence. Made a trip to the hardware store for beefier drywall anchors and snap toggle bolts.
this works so much better then what I was first going to use and lets not keep thinking about how i was going to use wood because I don’t have a metal bender. This is the way to mount your screen. It is made with thick metal and it’s very solid for just about any size screen. The only problem i had is the mounting screws heads are to big so it’s a permanent install and if you need to take down the brackets to paint or for what ever you reason you need to remove them. You can’t because the screw heads don’t fit in the tear drop holes made so you can push up on the brackets and slide them off the screws. Other then that there great. I know this does not need to be said but if your like me and want to be able to remove them just use smaller size screw heads. This is just my thinking and it’s up to you what you do with them.If you found any part of this review useful, please click the “yes” button below. Thanks!
These work really well for hanging my projector screen. I have a 120” diagonal screen that weights maybe 30lbs or so if i had to guess and it holds it far enough away from the wall so that it doesn’t bump any protrusions or decorations that are hanging on the wallI do however, recommend that you purchase some metal toggle bolts rather than typical drywall screws as the angle of these brackets result in an outward force rather than a downward, and typical drywall anchors are not meant for that. I used regular drywall screws at first and the top one pulled out of the wall about 1⁄2”, which made me a bit nervous. Once i had the toggle bolts in there it was far more secure.
This holds my projector screen on the wall great.I had trouble mounting my screen because my 1ts. mounts where L-brackets,like these, but plastic and much thicker. The wall is plaster with a gap then concrete out side wall. This bracket was much better for my needs because I now could use a “tapcon” long enough to reach the concrete to anchor I now don’t have to worry about this getting lose it well hold.I Also like the slot for the because you can adjust how far out from the wall you want.It doesn’t have to be the full 6” bracket. .
I dreaded the idea of hanging up the projector screen by myself, but no joke, these brackets made the whole job super easy. I actually ended up removing them a few weeks later and installing the screen in another room, and the entire process took less than 30 minutes. They’re ridiculously adjustable also, so even if they’re not perfectly level the screen hangs exactly where you want it. I used metal expanding drywall anchors to mount the brackets to the wall, and the entire assembly is sturdy as a rock. I’ll definitely be getting my projector accessories from this company from now on.
The L-Brackets are made cheaply. One of them was not straight; it was twisted at the elbow. The hardware that is included is really cheap too. I had to use my own screws as the ones provided stripped immediately. One of the karabiners broke at the joint and doesn’t close all the way unless you force it. All in all, I was able to mount my screen and it does look nice and professional. I mounted a 92” screen, so it isn’t that heavy and isn’t wide enough to require a bracket in the center. I imagine with a much larger screen it way not work as well.I think the product stinks, but I got it to work and it looks nice. Therefore it’s acceptable.
These work well, solid, and come with all the hardware. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that they included the eyelets and carabiners to hook to the D ring. But this puts the projector screen considerably lower than I would prefer. I would have preferred the eyelet bolts to have been hooks instead. In my case, I used a grinder to turn them INTO hooks, so I can keep the screen as close to the ceiling as possible but still allow the adjustment with the bolts to level it.
Works great. Very sturdy.
Buy again
