a simple design change would make this case perfect…

this case would be absolutely PERFECT except for the (oft lamented) fact that the SD Card is essentially inaccessible without unscrewing all 4 screws and taking the case apart. not a big deal for me as i have the tools to remedy that oversight but a simple design change would seriously benefit this case. the included screw driver and heatsinks are always a nice touch. i go back and forth in my head about whether i think a screwed or screwless design is best for these things… down to personal preference i suppose but screwed designs aren’t great for tinkerers like me :)still, very nice case and a few snips and cuts makes it almost perfect.

Sleek case

This is a cool little case that perfectly matches the backup hard USB drive I am using it with. I had to insert the board diagonally and then push it down for it to snap into place, after which all holes for the ports lined up perfectly. Snug fit!My only complain is that the case seals perfectly…until I actually have the raspberry pi in it. Once the board is in there and the screws are tightened there is always a small gap along one side. Maybe the screw holes are not perfectly aligned. The gap is barely noticeable, but still bothered me. Not sure if the heat sinks really make a difference, but they were a nice bonus, and the little screwdriver that came with mine was probably worth the price of the case on its own.

Great for the Pi 2, not so much for the Pi 3.

I’m a fan of this case overall. Its well vented, has a simple yet elegant design, and includes the heat sinks along with the tools for installing.My only complaint with using this case is that it’s not as compatible with Raspberry Pi 3. The Pi 3 has the same form factor as the Pi 2, but it doesn’t use the same push-push mechanism for the micro SD card. This means in order to remove the card on the Pi 3, you must pull it out of position. Sadly the case makes it difficult to remove the card because its pretty snug in the slot, so I had to resort to tools to remove the card.Overall I recommend this case if you are looking for a nice low profile design to house your Pi 2 or 3 and aren’t too concerned about removing your SD card often on the Pi 3.

Great product

Case was thinner than I imagined. Heat sinks were exactly as pictured. The thing that pushed me to five stars was customer service. They recognized that people make mistakes and included a couple extra screws and actually an extra heat sink. I assume this is standard. Looks great and fit perfectly.The only thing I worry about is airflow. Hasn’t over heated yet.

Great case, but not possible to remove SD card from Pi 3 when inside the case

Great case and does come with heatsinks. It doesn’t snap together like some other cases - it requires screws to keep the two shells together. So it’s a little less convenient than some other cases and since the Raspberry Pi 3 does not have the click-in-click-out microSD card slot like the Raspberry Pi 2 did, it’s a hassle to take out the SD card since you have to remove the case (or use tweezers to pluck the card out). Overall it’s a decent enclosure but the included heatsinks make it the best value for the money.

Great price, weird assembly.

It works great, if you insert the board properly and snap it into place. I’ll try to be more helpful than most of the other reviews that I was looking through to figure out how to assemble it properly.Basically you try to align the holes on the board with the holes in the bottom panel of the case, insert the side with power, HDMI, and audio at the weird angle they will fit in (at least the tops), and snap it down. Don’t worry, it doesn’t break anything. They just made this case extremely weird.If you are using the Pi 3, there will be a small annoyance. This is that if you keep the vent-like panel on (The one where the Micro SD is inserted), you will have to use pliers or something of the sort to get your Micro SD out without taking the case apart completely.I like the case, but think that it could have been made out of a slightly less cheap-feeling material. However, considering its low price and (at the time of this review) availability, this case can almost not be beat.

Great Case (Once you work out how it fits in)

Got this little case for a Pi 3 after seeing how cheap this guy was, and I’m very glad I picked it up.Out of the box, you’re not left with much more than a few heat sinks, a screw driver, and the case itself. No instructions included, which will probably leave you wondering if you’ve gotten the right case until you finally snap it in. For a pretty long period of time, I was sitting there cursing the thing to go around my Pi, until it finally snapped into place. Can confirm it fits on the Pi 2&3.The heat sinks are a nice touch, though I’m not sure how much of a difference they’ll make. I’ll be testing them later to see exactly how cool it’ll make it, but for now, it’s a bit reassuring to have something rather than nothing.The only real complaint I have with the case is how difficult it is to actually get the micro SD out via the slot. I ended up having to unscrew the case to reach my fingers in and pull the card out, but since this Pi is dedicated to a specific purpose, I’ll hopefully not have to pull it out much.Overall, great value for money case, and I’ll probably pick up another one when I build another Pi.

Nice case, very compact.

It fits my Pi 3 like a glove and seems solid for what it is, a plastic shell. Nicely engineered. Bear in mind there is not going to be much if any room inside this case for expansion, so if you are anticipating attaching any interfaces you may want to reconsider this as a choice. Very happy with using this, it’s a perfectly pocket-sized cover for your Pi.

Do NOT buy for Raspberry Pi 3

Did not fit the Raspberry Pi 3 at all. None of the ports matched up. Instantly returned. Avoid.

Fit is nice and snug

Fit is nice and snug, all ports are available. Comes with heat sinks. Only small complaint is that the SD Card is hard to remove and put in but one can do it with tweezers if one…

Glad I bought this.

At first it didn’t seem big enough to contain the Raspberry.. By aligning and inserting the power jack into the hole of the case, the board dropped in flawlessly.
