beware if you are thinking of using wireless, extra expenses required.

Turns out you need to purchase an additional $100 adapter to use this wireless. I reviewed the product description on Amazon and on the Epson site again after confirming this with Epson tech support. Both neglect to mention this, and infer the thing is wireless ready out of the box. Very misleading advertising. I wonder what other “features” await discovery.

This will be one of several reviews. I’ll write more as I use the product. I bought this projector because of the positive reviews and glad that I did. This projector has an amazing picture and is very easy to use. I have it at ten feet and have about a 94 inch picture. Currently using the living room wall, which is egg shell, works just fine though ,and like I said, it’s an awesome picture.I’ve heard some comment about poor sound and that the fan is loud. Well, my wife has asked me on several occasions if I could turn it down a little. I have purchased surround sound speakers for this, haven’t used them yet, really don’t need to…. As far as the fan goes, I can’t hear it when I’m watching a movie, and when viewing pictures, I can barley hear it.. I have mine connected to my lap top via an HDMI cable and have been watching Netflix. Actually when using my lap top now I just use the projector as my monitor. It really is an awesome picture. I have had several friends and family over to either watch a movie or look at my daughter’s weeding pictures, and they all agree, the picture is truly HD….I use to have a 60 inch television and this picture is better, and much easier on your eyes…I’m feeling a little guilty though, and almost regret buying it now, because I’m spending more time watching movies and neglecting some of my chores..LOL

On April 19, 2016 I bought the projector pro ex5250 and today April 10, 2017 it went out and did not light anymore. This product is great. The set up was pretty easy except for the figuring out how to turn the screen direction to a ceiling mount. I had to google the manual as this projector only came with quick start setup.
