This is a great little projector, quite portable and bulb replacement easy/cheap (we keep a few on hand). We’ve used this all over - great for PC display at matching resolution, but just recently found out that for movies (netflix/etc) better to send 1080p signal to it, ala Roku or similar - than streaming via PC - The projector seems to process (i.e. adapt) the 1080p to its native resolution really well - project it on a nice screen and it is pretty exceptional for a WXGA. Maybe a hidden feature for some, but as we use this mainly for portable presentation, we have to switch back and forth from high to low power modes quite a bit, which is somewhat menu intensive by default - there’s a feature to program the ‘User’ button on the remote, for us a great place to put this function - so now we can switch that as quickly as the color modes, which is really helpful in live venue. We have more hours logged in ECO than not, which says something for the brightness of the unit, as we choose this setting solely on visual effect when in the field. Final note, sound options are rather limited, but many devices such as an HDMI sound splitter can rectify this. We actually bought a second as a backup, though haven’t needed it yet. Which is a good thing. Overall, this projector sits high on my list of good purchases.
Excellent projector for the price. This is one of the best projectors I’ve used. It sets up in minutes - literally attach the cord to the back and to the computer - perfect. The resolution is dynamic - I used it to present to a group of 200 hundred in a very large room - everyone was able to see the screen and even the small details were enhanced. I highly recommend buying this projector. Works extremely well with MacBook and Wifi.
Purchased one for a small classroom in a normal fluorescent light setting.Setting is very easy and can be done in a few minutes (depending on how much you want to set)The projector was mounted on the ceiling using a universal mount from the previous projector (Boxlight)Colors are projected vividly on a screen even under fluorescent light and natural light combined.Fan noise is quite minimal and does not interfere with our activities (watching a short video clips or presentation)Overall, the projector was a good choice for our use considering its cost and performance.
Perfect replacement for the EX 7220, it’s bright, works great.. only thing I could find to fault it would be it runs a tad hot (and the menu interface software still rather bites, but that’s rather to be expected with Epson nowadays). I use this in my media room, hooked to the XBox One and Playstation 4, Roku and computer.. and the picture is fantastic
I’m using it as a home theater projector and also as a projector for public presentations of my “Stop Invasive Garlic Mustard!” power points. The projector is great and very easy to use. I haven’t used it extensively yet, but so far its everything I wanted.
its great, we use it between conference rooms here and there. It is very sharp, and bright enough where we really dont need the lights off to see it.
Works great in our church. Bright enough for a sunny day. Hooked up through Apple TV - slight issue with it blanking out for a few seconds 3 or 4 times during the service. Sill have not figured out if it’s the projector or the Apple TV set-up.
Outstanding. Would definitely buy again for home video system. One note - no audio output for speakers. Using it with a kindle fire stick, we have to use an hdmi splitter.
Great !
Great little projector. You can buy factory refurbished models directly from the Epson website. I got mine from there for $338 with free shipping.
Would be a 5 Star projector if it had audio out. Other than that, this thing rocks!
Wish it has a double serial port to hook up monitor and projector.
Love this projector! I have a huge wall and the picture is still very clear. I have the projecter set 17ft back, about 7 ft up and a screen that’s around 124inches.
Really a great projector, first project for it was projecting a school logo on a gymnasium wall at over 28 ft tall. Was done with half the gym lights still on…!
Great resolution, well made, easy to use.
