The Wrist Snapper can be used at any time and is so effective but at the same time so easy to use.
Ernie Parker developed The Wrist Snapper training device to teach his students the importance of a proper wrist snap at the pitching release point and to help strengthen the wrist and forearm. This training tool focuses specifically on that part of the release which can present some frustrating problems for the fastpitch player, the snap. This product addresses the problems of weak and incorrect snaps for both underhand and overhand pitching or throwing. The device is great for other sports such as baseball or tennis where a strong wrist snap can help to produce additional power and movement. When the wrist snap is performed properly, the device produces a distinct sound that is both heard and felt, providing instant feedback. If the wrist snap has a twisting motion or is not snapped hard enough, no distinctive sound is produced. With this tool, the player gets both positive and negative feedback instantly. During the process of shaping the snap correctly and receiving positive feedback, muscle-memory builds and strength builds as well. All of these come together to improved the shape and strength of the wrist snap.
My daughter is a newly learning softball pitcher. I purchased this for her to help as a training aid. It is really helping improve her wrist snaps and the best part is that she really finds it fun, and I don’t have to pester her to use it. She also takes it to games and uses it to warm up before the game and in between innings. We ended up liking them so much, that our league purchased one for each team, so all the girls can use them to train and warm up.
Bought this to help my daughter improve her wrist snap for pitching. It is straightforward to use and definitely provides feedback when she snaps her wrist.I am withholding a star at least for now because the unit does not always reset itself(i.e. the piece inside doesn’t always slide down by itself) and because I haven’t yet seen if it has actually translated into better pitching(it’s winter now).It does seem to a useful training aid that is relatively inexpensive and can let the girls practice in their own house. The Snapper does provide feedback to them when they snap their wrist(when it works) which enables them to practice on their own without supervision.I am hoping that it helps her.
Helped my daughter snap her wrist
Really helped my daughter to get the idea of the wrist snap.It seems to work better than other training aids like a ball in a sock.
Quickly shows young players how to use their arm and wrist to improve velocity via auditory feedback.
Great indoor practice tool & fantastic way to get rid of the crooked snap that many pitchers seem to have. Great for beginners and advanced pitchers.
loved it.
great product. my daughter uses the wrist snapper for warm-ups and also practicing in her room.it has really corrected her form and wrist.
Works great…can already see a difference
Granddaughters love this little wrist builder.
Great product
My pitchers won’t put this device down, they even carry it to class and snap during passing periods!
It will work well for younger girls, but my 12 year old could snap this easily…
Great tool to use for any age of pitcher that needs to work on their snaps.
Great product.
