Good universal stand when brand specific unavailable

Holds my 65” Insignia just right. The 5 degree forward tilt is accurate from previous reviews. This is due to the compression of the cushioning material between the vertical structure and the glass base when TV weight load is applied. TV appears stable and safe so far. Overall this stand met my needs.

Got this after I moved to a condo from a house. I had installed a heavy duty wall mounted bracket for my LG 47inch LCD TVC at the house and sold the original stand, ironically here on Amazon. So after reading reviews I settled on this model. It came well packaged and on time.As far as assembly, not the easiest nor is it the hardest. Just take your time, lay out the parts (although it would of been nice to label the screws and such on the packets also, to make it easily to match up on the instruction diagram) and double check stuff and you’ll be fine. I will say to make sure when attaching the tv cross section to the top of the stand make sure its square. I didn’t think it was a big deal and the tv ended up not being exactly level. Not wanting to take it apart and reassemble I shimmed one side. It kind of worked, or it’s not as bad.The only downside are the rubber standoffs at the bottom of the glass, that in my case slid out from under the glass. I had to reattach with gorilla glue and that seems to work. A FYI is NOT to sand the bottom to make a better adhesive surface since it will mar the finish.I was worried about the tv tipping and that ended up not being the case at all, The tv is very solid and love the ability to swing from side to side, if anything to make plugging stuff in easier

Heavy Duty Materials (Glass and Metal), But Poorly Designed and Machined

Heavy duty materials (glass and metal). However, the four holes drilled through the vertical support bar/post (two on top and two on bottom) are too large for the bolts. This creates too much play in the attachment of the two L-shaped brackets at the top and bottom of the vertical support bar/post. Thus, leveling TV the on the stand once it is entirely assembled is difficult to impossible without disassembling the entire frame, including adjusting the two vertical brackets (in the picture, the brackets with holes) attached directly to the back of the TV. Also, the vertical cylindrical bars that hold the two horizontal brackets together (if not machined properly, as mine weren’t) cause the entire frame (attached to the vertical support bar/post) to torque, throwing the frame out of square, causing additional leveling problems. If that wasn’t enough, once I managed to get TV stand to nearly level (based upon the bottom edge of the TV), I noticed that the entire TV was tilted slightly forward top to bottom). In other words, the TV leans about 10 degrees from the top. Was this by design? I dunno. Fortunately, the glass base seems heavy enough, and the vertical support bar/post far enough back on the base, to offset the obvious lean. Finally, the small thumb-screws used to secure the TV to the stand’s horizontal bottom bracket seem wholly inadequate to hold the TV onto the heavy stand. While it should be easy to remove the TV from the stand in the future because these set screws are so flimsy, the weight of the TV plus the stand creates the very real problem of the stand sliding off the TV bracket when moving the TV and stand as a unit, even if moving entails cleaning the TV and/or the stand in the future. My TV is an LG 37LK450 with the following specs, W 35.9” x D 10.4” x H 25.2” and W 28.66 lbs., but this TV should not be straining this stand if it the stand was engineered better, or if the stand’s parts were machined properly. Perhaps I will figure out a way to tweak this stand in a way that will make it more level – right to left and top to bottom – and easier to service, move and clean. Until then, I will warn my family and guests of the inconveniences and dangers this stand poses. I do not recommend this TV stand for 37” TVs.

Stand good, instructions not so much

It has held up our 55 inch Samsung without problem. The glass base is heavy enough to counter-balanace. The only drawback are the instructions. There are no words only tiny pictures, so it was difficult to determine front from back pieces. There are different size screws, all included, to fit various TV’s. IT came with allen wrenches, but we had to use pliers to hold the nuts in place. We set the TV at the highest level and it stands about 8 inches above the pedestal.

Raises your TV about 8”

My wife and grand daughter complained they couldn’t watch TV from the kitchen while eating dinner. My argument was good you shouldn’t being watching tv at dinner time. Well that didn’t fly so I bought this little stand. I have a 60” Samsung that I mounted on it and then it sits on my stand. In total it raised the tv about 8”. Enough to keep the peace.

Had to return

I ended up returning this. In the description it said it would fit my tv. There are alot of parts to put together and once I finally got it put together I realized that it would not work for my tv.

Perfect for our application!

The TV stand works exactly as advertised. The quality is good and it was it easy to assemble and attach the TV. We are using it to hold an oversize monitor for computer and it worked perfectly in that application.
