The Flirc Raspberry Pi case was designed to not only be functional for your Raspberry Pi, but to be drop dead gorgeous. It’s made of beautiful aluminum core that is sandwiched between two black, soft touch shells that feel amazing in your hands. But once it’s out of your hands, it’s deserving to be proudly on display running your favorite media center software. This is the first affordable Raspberry Pi case made out of aluminum. We wanted to ensure we didn’t sacrifice form over function, so we used the aluminum housing of the case to provide a built in heat sink. Supplied with the case is a thermal pad and 4 screws for the simplest Raspberry Pi case assembly on the market. It only takes seconds to drop your Raspberry Pi into it’s amazing new home and show it off on your counter top. We included rubber feet to raise the enclosure so it just hovers underneath your television. In addition to the built in heat sink, small ventilation slots on the bottom help keep the Raspberry Pi cool. GPIO pins are accessible through the slot on the bottom of the case and there is no need for disassembly to get to the SD card. Great case!
I love this case. It looks so sleek and so much better than the case that I got with my CanaKit. It functions as described too essentially making the entire case a heat sink. I’d recommend this to anybody and everybody!
Well designed and BEST case for the Raspberry PI 3!
I have tried several cases for a few of the Raspberry Pi 3’s that I have and this is by far the best designed of the best quality. It is machined perfectly to fit the PI 3 and holds the board in place with screws. Even they appear to be of good quality. The cooling effect really does work too, much better than any other metal or plastic case I have used. I usually don’t write reviews, but I am completely satisfied with this product and I will only be using it for my future PI projects.

Sleek design, good heat sink implementation.
Bought to enclose a RP3 board that I’m using for a RetroPie and OSMC device – so far so good. The case is solid, the heat sink implementation seems to work well and it looks slick and feels solid when held. As long as the RP board is screwed in, it’s should be secure.Granted, I haven’t left it on for more than two hours at a stretch, but, when I do touch it, it’s not hot.

This unibody aluminum design is very Apple-Esque. The Raspberry Pi 3 Model B fits perfectly and looks amazing!
