The heatsinks aren’t very effective. I overclocked my rPI3 and it’s still hovering at 78C @ 1.35Ghz with over_volt 4.The charger cable came bent, and is barely 2.5A @ 5V. It’s just within limits. It can’t be used for consistent uptime. This kit is basically getting the barely of everything. Not horrible but you pay for what you get for.Do not waste your time, get literally any other kit.
This power supply is exactly what the Raspberry Pi needs to get rid of that lightning bolt popping up on the screen all the time. The heat sinks were a big bones. Overall it was a great buy and it was worth it.
Like the heatsinks. The cable does feel a bit short, wouldn’t have been too much of an issue if it was removable.
What to say it works.
Good power supply and the heatsinks are a bonus, I am using these with a Raspberry Pi 3 with no issues.
This is a great deal for a 2.5A USB micro AC adapter and 2 heat sinks for a Raspberry Pi 2⁄3.If you’re looking for the bleeding edge in performance from your Pi, I’d clean off the adhesive tape on the sinks and use thermal adhesive for better heat transfer.
Worked as it should. Powers up the Raspberry Pi 3 with no problem. Heat sinks are a nice addition too.
The heat sinks were a welcome addition. If the power adapter had an on/off switch to control the device, I’d say it’s perfect.
Heat Sinks were what made me choose this product, while running in Kodi I get the flashing lightning bolt of not enough power.
The cord is way to short. Otherwise, it’s fine. No issues
Works fine!
good price when heat sinks included
It’s a power supply. What more could I want out of it?
It wokks perfectly
This is a great power supply with a lot of current (Amps) that the Raspberry Pi 3 needs however I would not buy this again for the heat sinks.
