Fits like the Nikon

UPDATED: 10/18/2016Changed from 5 stars to 3 stars. This protector arrived on Friday 10/11/2016. I placed it on the camera and returned the camera to my bag that securely holds only the camera and a lens. On Monday 10/17/2016, I created a portrait for about 45 minutes. I was wearing a tee shirt. The camera strap is chest high. No belt buckle to scatch it. I looked at the screen protector. It is as scratched up as the one I replaced that had been on the camera for 3 years. Appears soft plastic that just a finger nail touching it will scratch it. I am one to leave the screen protector on at all times, although Nikon recommends taking it off and using for storage. If you are one to leave it on all the time, get the Nikon branded one.Fits like the Nikon for a fraction of the price.

Will Buy Again for every camera!

I hate the big plastic clip on protector that fades out the screen because Nikon LCDs are already not the easiest to view pictures on in daylight. This protector is very clear. It is actual glass and not plastic; and thin enough to be transparent, but thick enough to be glass and protect. One day, I came home and found a chip in the corner of the screen. I panicked for a moment until I realized that it was not my actual screen, but the glass of the protector that chipped. Sure enough, I took the protector off and my screen is perfect. This also goes to show how unobtrusive the protector is.I had trouble taking the screen off because the stick is strong and flush. Taking off the screen will crack it and a little bit dangerous; the glass will crack into very fine pieces that stick and cut through skin.

I love these screen protectors

I have never been a fan of the plastic clip on screen protectors. You buy a $1000 + camera, and put a chintzy looking plastic thing on it. It gets scratched up, and makes it harder to see through it, and if you bump your camera just right, it’s gone. These glass protectors improve on all of these shortcomings:1. First, they are extremely easy to install, unlike the plastic film protectors, they are easy to line up, and you get no bubbles.2. Your camera is manufactured with a glass protector that protects your actual LCD screen. The film or hard plastic cover usuallly seen on cameras are actually protecting the factory LCD protector from being scratched. These GGS glass protectors look just like the factory one, except it says GGS and your camera name at the bottom instead of just your camera name. The factory glass on my top screen was cracked, so I ordered a genuine Nikon part and replaced it. When I installed the GGS protector over this, I couldn’t tell them apart, so if your top screen glass is cracked, I’m pretty sure you could install this one instead of the Nikon part. Unless you knew these were screen protectors, you woudn’t even know they were installed. They integrate that seemlessly with the factory look of the camera.3. I have had one of these on my P7000 for over a year, and it still looks like new. Not a scratch on it. Optically, they are completely transparent, so you won’t even notice they are there either. They also make these for Iphones, so I think I’m going to stop getting the stupid film that lasts a month if I’m lucky, and get the glass for our phones too.Bottom line, order these!! You won’t regret it.

The Best Protection for your LCD Screen…. Only Fits Nikon D7000 Camera.

This is a replacement screen protector for the Nikon D7000 camera. The only difference is, it does NOT have the Nikon name on it. Witch is No Big Deal to me.It came in a box, with the screen protector covered with plastic on both sides front and back, needed to pull off the plastic covering to use it on the camera. Looks Good.Came unscratched and ready to go. Just click it on the back of the camera over the screen, works great. I love it and will purchase this same one again. I hope this helps you decide your purchase if you have a Nikon D 7000 Camera …. Thank you.

Plastic, not glass

Apparently, most of these reviewers got a glass screen protector. The listing said plastic and that’s what I received.Works ok, but only a 3 hardness.

Excellent protection for your camera’s LCD screen

This is a replacement for the first one I installed 2 years ago, which cracked when I dropped my Nikon D300. It did its job by protecting the LCD, so I decided to buy another. The original never scratched and was clear to the point of not affecting the image on the LCD, so these screen protectors do what they claim. If I had a complaint it would be they are not easy to remove, but that is probably a benefit, as they stay put. I tip for anyone that has to remove theirs: use tape, preferably clear packing tape, to cover the entire piece before removing. This will keep it from coming off in many pieces that can potentially cut you. It is glass, after all. I decided to use clear tape so I could see what I was doing. Beyond that, follow the directions for removal on the package, if you are replacing a broken one. Most of all, take your time! These are easy to install, just keep your fingers from touching the surface before applying, because they are not easy to remove without breaking. I would highly recommend these for LCD protection.

Great product at an exceptional price.

I wasn’t expecting these protective covers to use adhesive to secure them to the camera, but the installation was easy and the result was very good. I especially like that it uses glass rather than transparent plastic. With the price, there isn’t any excuse to risk scratching or damaging the screens of your D300 or D90 by using them naked. (The cameras, not the owner.)

Perfect fit.

Fit perfect. Clear. great replacement for a scratched screen protector.

Save your money don’t buy its a waste….

I am really good at putting these film on and have done so for various items. I bought this b/c of reviews. It has ben the WORST so far.

Fit perfect on my D7000

This replaced a damaged screen that came with the camera. It’s been fine. It was so cheap I bought two and wonder exactly why the original Nikon screens are so expensive.
