Interval Shooting Mode + Time Lapse Movie
Color:Black/Orange | Style:Base Compact and portable, yet rugged enough to handle even the most trying of conditions, the blue FinePix XP90 Digital Camera from Fujifilm is a point-and-shoot featuring water, shock, freeze, and dustproof construction. A 16.4MP 1⁄2.3” CMOS sensor produces high-resolution stills and full HD 1080p video, which is complemented by a 5x Fujinon zoom lens that covers a 28-140mm equivalent focal length range. Sensor-shift image stabilization minimizes the appearance of camera shake while features such as an Action Camera mode and a 320 fps Slow Motion mode provide additional creative options when recording video. A rear LCD monitor features an anti-reflective coating for greater visibility in a variety of lighting conditions, and built-in Wi-Fi connectivity permits one-touch transferring of imagery to linked mobile devices, as well as wireless remote controlled shooting from smartphones and tablets.
This camera is awesome. It takes great pictures, and is waterproof. The videos I took didn’t turn out bad either. Sure, the quality isn’t as good as my DSLR, but who takes a DSLR in the water? I also didn’t have any issues with the water coming into the battery door. It’s pretty simple, turn a quarter turn to lock it, a quarter turn to unlock it. You have to push the door closed before you do either of these things. I’m not sure how anyone would have any issue with this unless they were ham fisting it. 10⁄10, would buy again.
The camera has worked better than I expected so far! I haven’t taken any underwater pics yet, but plan to this weekend. However, for everyday photos it has done better than I thought (based on some of the other reviews and it being a refurbished camera). No complaints so far!
I’ve owned half a dozen Fuji shockproof cameras for work and they are great. My only complaint on this one is the shutter button is a little harder to press than previous versions so there’s a nuance to it. Not a deal breaker at all, it just sits pretty flat on the housing and it would have been nice to have a little more upward mount to make it easier to snap.
Bought this camera for a trip. I have another camera that I take but it is not waterproof and not designed to be as durable. This camera worked great. The video and pictures were clear. Very rugged. I worried at first about taking it in the water but no problems. I took it kayaking, snorkeling and on the boat deep sea fishing. Got great video of the fish and good pictures from the kayak. I have a Canon EOS that I love but hesitate to take sometimes whereas I took this one every where.
Has worked fine in and out of water. Saved a lot by buying refurbished. It came packaged as though it was brand new with the same accessories that seem to be included with a new unit. I bought an Amazon essentials pouch for it and take it with me hiking, biking and paddle boarding. I would give it five stars but 5X zoom is limiting.
love this thing, perfect for underwater shots. this is my 3rd one and would not hesitate to get another but hint hint, get the warranty with it. My first 1 last just over a year and the second a year and a half. Both times the seal around the battery door failed. Excellent photos and does everything really well just wish they made that door more snug…
This camera was exactly what I was looking for in a point and shoot waterproof camera. I bought this for a rafting trip in Colorado and could not have been happier with how the pictures turned out. Sometimes I debate about having a camera that can accept AAA batteries instead of lithium batteries like this but, it held a good charge most of the week and when it finally ran down, I got a quick recharge from a friend’s power bank. I didnt try any underwater shots because the water was a bit muddy so no comment on underwater shot quality. Panoramic feature was awesome for some canyon shots too!
I bought a refurbished unit and saved about 20% by doing so. It has worked flawlessly and takes decent pictures. I bought it specifically to take scuba diving in Tahiti and it served its purpose. I like the pictures my cell phone takes just as much but I am not taking my cell phone anywhere near water, let alone in it. It is a nice addition to other cameras you might have - maybe just use this one at the beach and pool. The wifi photo transfer was easy and worked every time. I was glad I had extra batteries because the combination of taking pictures and shooting video along with transferring really uses up the battery. I definitely recommend this camera.
Great camera
We used this on our recent trip to Walt Disney World. I let my 7 year old carry it and use it most of the time. Took great pictures and video and it is sure-enough water proof.
This camera fulfills all expectations. I do not plan to intentionally test the durability claims so i cannot verify those. The size is good for a jacket pocket.
Replacing a older waterproof camera. Works great, haven’t had any issues, I don’t abuse my stuff so I cant comment on durability.
great stuff
Very handy! Great pics & features!
Won’t hold a charge for more than like 10 minutes.
Great little camera. I don’t do anything special with mine. the underwater feature is fun and the battery seems to last quite a long time. I like ours a lot
For the price, you can do no better for a decent cool looking underwater camera
