Product Description

Instantly capture moments and create memories with the INSTAX Wide 300 Instant Film Camera from Fujifilm. Utilizing large format INSTAX instant film, the INSTAX Wide 300 can create images 2.4 x 3.9” in size on a 3.4 x 4.3” piece of film. It also features a retractable 95mm f/14 lens with a two-range focus zone setting for capturing sharp imagery, as well as a 0.37x optical viewfinder with a target spot for composing images. Built into the INSTAX Wide 300 is a flash with automatic power settings and a fill flash mode. This complements the auto exposure settings to produce well-lit images. Exposure compensation is available from ±2/3 EV via a lighten-darken control for adjusting the shots based on the situation. Also, there is an LCD screen that displays number of shots remaining, the exposure compensation, and flash mode.

Can’t stop taking photos!

Takes a while to figure out the right distance for the right lens. Besides that it is a wonderful camera. The film is twice as big as the mini and having different lens sizes is great. I also love the force flash and lighten/darken features. I do however wish it came with a small pocket or case for the selfie lens to be stored in, I worry it will become lost or scratched/broken. Takes great photos! I would recommend this over the mini.

Awesome quality, but still flawed.

One of the best purchases I’ve made in a while. I am very impressed by the quality of the pictures. However, the camera is not invincible to a couple flaws. First, the camera is very loud. This is not ideal for candid photography, unless you yourself are sneaky. Second, my camera’s flash does not turn off despite the buttons on the back having an on/off for the flash, but I don’t mind so much since I’m a wannabe Terry Richardson. Third, The camera does not have many 3rd party accessories. I’ve been on the look for a good photo album to store my polaroids, but most of the products I found were directed toward the instax mini. Lastly, there aren’t any monochromatic exposures for this camera, which sucks. I’m still extremely happy with my purchase, I’d recommend it to anyone who doesn’t have money to buy Impossible film or someone who’s bored of digital photography.

outdoor photos tend to have weird rings and bad exposure at the edges

This camera is everything you want it to be except for one thing. A lot of photos, especially in bright light conditions, will come out with artifacts. This has been mentioned by other reviewers. I’m not sure if the light is coming in from the top or if it’s a lens artifact from the light going through the lens or other optics but either way, outdoor photos tend to have weird rings and bad exposure at the edges.Otherwise, for indoor photos with flash, this camera has impressed me a lot and is so easy to use. I’m mostly satisfied with it especially considering you wouldn’t use instant small photos for landscapes anyway, mostly for indoor portraits, and this performs well for that.

… had this for over a year and it was great when i first received it

i’ve had this for over a year and it was great when i first received it, but now it chooses and decides when it wants to work, I’ve wasted so much film…sometimes images come out great and other times they come out blank..also this is super bulky and annoying to carry…i’d prob recommend the mini if anything.

Most fun camera ever!!!!

Excellent!!! Fist time use was at my uncles 68th birthday party. Everyone was asking about it and where to get one. Made the party that much more special to give him pictures of all his friends and family right on the spot! Excellent, Excellent, Excellent.
