What a rack!

Received the 3 tier version of this storage shelving today, got it in black. I must say for the price, it’s a decent sturdy rack. I usually don’t like these types of shelves that need assembly, I was looking at a similar Origami 3 tier, but it was a higher price. The measurements on this unit were just right. Took me about 45 minutes to assemble, instructions are kinda vague. In one of my pictures, there are some parts that were not listed in the assembly instructions. Not sure whta they are or were for. Apparently they were not needed.

came in a box that was a bit heavy, once opened it was so easy to put together. It took me about 10 minutes. The directions were pretty easy

It’s fine

I wouldn’t call this “heavy duty” but it does the job. Took about 10 minutes to set up and it probably would have taken less if the pieces that hold the shelves up fit together better. Most of them didn’t close around the pole and I had to use a hammer to tap the shelving down over the pieces to make sure they would hold. That being said, it holds all the stuff I wanted it to hold and that’s what’s important. It’s not completely level but the bottom of the poles have screws so you can adjust how it stands. Worth it for the price paid and it was undamaged by shipping.

De-cluttered my kitchen

Great shelving. Easy to assemble. I’ve acquired so many bulky kitchen items over the years that I could no longer store them all. I set this up in the garage and was able to move the bigger and infrequently used items–roasting pans, stock pots, stand mixer, food processor, cake pans–neatly onto the shelves. Now when I need the mixer, I don’t have to move 10 other things out of the way to get it. It’s made a huge difference inside my cabinets and on top of my counters. My kitchen is now clutter-free.

This is so nifty Putting it together nearly breaks your nerves. The joints don’t fit together so you just kinda have to set them on top each other and then when you put something heavy on there, fingers crossed. But to my surprise, it worked, and they are just great. Be careful, the depth of the shelf is just A little bit deeper than specified. I thought I was not going to be able to close my door. I got the green because it was cheaper on the shelf just looks wonderful I’m glad I got the Green.

incorrect measurements provided! does not have 23 inch width

the measurements given on the amazon page for this product are incorrect. I bought this because I needed something that had a (maximum) 23 inch width - and this one has one of exactly 24 inches, although it is for some reason listed as 23. As a result, I bought this and it was just ever so slightly too large to fit into the space I needed it for. Actual measurements are 24 by 14 inches.

You almost get what you pay for

I’ve bought the original Metro shelves and the Ikea equivalent for years. Metro are, without a doubt, the most durable, but also more expensive. This Furinno was broken right out of the box as the welds on one of the shelves were already broken. I am using that shelf on the top and putting nothing on it. As for the 250 pounds per shelf? No. I have about 50 on one of them and it is starting to bow. Perhaps if the 250 is spread out with the bulk at the sides of the shelves, it could work, but I wouldn’t recommend it. As well, the plastic sleeves that are used to hold the shelves in place are about 10% too small as they don’t snap into each other as they should.I like the green color and it’s being used until we find something more permanent, but if you want this to be a heavy duty and long lasting solution, look to Metro or something else. It’s not terrible, but it’s not good.
