This garden arch worked perfect for me. This is in an area of my back yard that separates a planting area, water feature and lawn from a storage shed.
Stable and very nice looking. BUT didn’t read the small print and it was green! Looked black, hit the send button to fast, my husband had it set up to surprise me and BUMMER it’s green!!! We needed a new roof on our shed and I insisted on no green which would match our house and barn roofs. It had to be black I wanted an updated look and there I go in a hurry and bought green! Oh well I’m off to buy BLACK paint as it was my mistake.
Had to modify this by cutting 30” off one side to install on a wood bench, but that has NOT compromised the security nor strength of the arch. It works beautifully in helping train our roses and ceanothus over the walkway to our raised bed garden. This walkway was often treacherous in the past, but now forms a beautiful archway, enhancing our entrance to the garden. The antiqued greenish brass color fits well with plants in the area, rather than standing out as a pure white or stainless steel arch would.
this is the second one we bought here and great as ever. The first has hops(the decorative kind)-and the second has climbing roses.
JUNK - won’t last more than a few years - SOFT metal alloy - not steel. Assemble at point of install as the vertical pieces will pull the bolts right through the bar attaching them to the top part if spread just a small bit putting pressure on the soft metal. Have no idea what the metal is, but it is so soft IU see no way it will hold up to corrosion/rust for more than a few years. BTW, the instruction do not even advise installing one set of th bolts on the top part. Looks good having JUST installed it, but betting oit falls apart/corrodes badly starting in a year
Looks can be deceiving,It is a very nice arch against the home but Two healthy Clematis Plants climbing on the arch and some country winds will bring this product down.Needs additional cross bracing support ,otherwise it will lean to one side.I am in the process of installing 2 metal cross braces on the back side and longer rebar anchors into the ground.
Super easy to put together. The dark green finish is lovely. My clematis plants are already climbing on it. :-D
I am very pleased with the ease at which the Kensington Arch was to assemble as I was able to assemble and erect it in its place by myself without any help. I feel that in itself was a huge achievement that added a few brain cells to my mind and boosted my ego. It is a very attractive greenish color that blends well in the garden. The honeysuckle vines that I planted on each side are working their way up the trellis and soon to be enjoyed by hummingbirds.
Sturdy enough to support a fully laden pomegranate tree
I read a lot of reviews and was a little apprehensive but it’s fine….it’s holding up just fine. Great item for the price
Not the stupidest but perfect for my application. I bought 4
Not quite the heavy construction I expected, but it will do.
It’s working out well! I have a blooming tree that is arching over it, in the entry way to my courtyard and I was concerned it might not be sturdy enough, but it looks nice…
It arrived with a piece broken off but I managed to have something I could rig it together with; otherwise it would not have been functioning.
Was easy to install and looks great!!!!
The metal is too weak that when I put the screws in .,,, after stand it up …the thing shift and bend to one side and then when I hold it straight up it move again to the same…
Easy to put together. Very sturdy. Looks great.
