Buy an off brand
I bought this Garmin brand thinking it would have the large suction cup as the one that came with my Nuvi 2699. It did not. It had the smaller standard one that tends to fall off if the windshield gets too warm. That being said, I would suggest buying one of the off brand units offered by Amazon for less than half the money as the Garmin.
Falls off a lot
It falls off a lot… especially in hot weather. The suction releases and you find it on your dash or on the floor. I’m surprised Garmin hasn’t gotten sued yet, as this can be a serious safety hazzard if it gets stuck under your brake pedal.
