I was reluctant to purchase any item refurbished but I have to confide that I have been satisfied with the quality and performance of my Garmin Dash Cam 20. It’s just as good, if not better than a brand-new model. Five-stars for great cust svc and quality research into a great product.

Definitely worth the $100 savings!

This is a new addition to my Garmin family. As with all of there products, it is very easy to set up and use. Shooting in 1080p the resolution is very good, even at night. If you are thinking about purchasing this item you should look into the refurbished unit. For $100 less then a “new” one you get the same 1 year warranty from Garmin as you would on a new one. It might not come in a fancy box like a new one but for the savings it is so much worth it.

Think twice before buying refurbished items.

Unit worked for a couple of weeks and then started to “freeze” after about 10 minutes of continuous recording. Only after forcing shut down it would beging new recording for a short period and then the freezing problem again.

Freezes up

Have had this camera for 6 weeks. It started freezing up on me a few days ago, as has been reported by other purchasers. It can be reset by holding the power button down for 10 seconds, then turned back on. It will record for a few minutes then freeze up again making it unusable for the desired purpose.I will attempt get satisfaction under the one year warranty. Will update my review with the results of that effort.

Good dashcam with minor drawbacks

I used this on a recent trip to Albuquerque. The dashcam worked well for the most part, but it did have a couple of drawnacks. When being used extended periods it will get hot, and freeze up (especially with larger capacity micro sd cards). That and periodically it may freeze with a larger capacity card.

Great product, but just didn’t work for me… keep freezing .

Very disappointed… jumpy, then sped up, then froze… just as others had reported…. BUT I liked the features, compactness, and the info it showed on the screen…. when it worked… I RETURNED IT, but ordered another one and HOPING for the best…. I have faith in GARMIN…

Great camera, it even catches things you might not expect.

I really like having this camera, the video is very good and clear, so is the audio. I sent my vehicle to a shop for a front end alignment and when they test drove it, they ran it up over a curb when cornering as well as went prowling through my console, I could see and hear what the mechanic was doing. So far I haven’t had to rely on it in an accident so I can’t comment on that aspect.

Great dash cam.

Very good quality camera. Great picture. Is small so doesn’t take up much room on the windshield. The only thing I don’t like it tells you what your speed is on the video so I have I watch my speed now.Updated 06-09-17 this camera saved me from insurance fraud In my company vehicle. Very glad this camera had a clear picture and was able to prove myself innocent. The only down fall I have had with this camera is that it will fall of the windshield a lot. The suction cup does hold it up well on the windshield.

Great video, but sometimes I have to unplug it and then plug it again.

Quit working after 4 hours.

This quit working after 4 hours. So disappointed.Received refund and ordered a different brand.
