It does its job, a tiny speed loss but negligible

When I moved into my new place, the cable was in the living room closet, I didn’t want the modem to be in the closet so I used this to extend the cable to the outside.There is a little bit of speed loss (very minimal and negligible, around 2-5mbs) but that could be my wireless router’s fault and not this extender.It does what it does and it’s been almost half a year and it has yet to stop working, worth it for the price.

The RG6 ran from the TV out 10’ to the connector to the OTA antenna allowing me to reach an exterior wall for better reception.

Solid connection.

Need this to extend the coax running from outside my house to a bedroom. My house doesnt have wall outlets because whoever installed the coax was too lazy to do it right. I put this between the existing coax and a 6 foot coax cable to get the length I needed. Was very easy to install and made a solid connection with no sound or video issues. Package came with two so I have an extra if I ever need it.I could of run to Wal-Mart to buy a set of these but figured why not let it be shipped to my house for free.

The threads on this connector are a little rough and had to jiggle the cable end a little to get the threads to catch, but not too bad. I’ve used others that were very smooth compared to this brand. It did work fine for what it’s made for

Used this and cable instead of wifi booster

I was going to buy a booster for my wifi, as my laptop was sometimes losing connectivity from down the hall. The internet provider installed the router on a super-short cord behind my sofa. Instead of getting a booster, I opted to move the source closer using an extension and this nifty converter. Download/upload speed tests show a 50% boost in my signal after I moved the source to the side of the sofa, and I didn’t need to spend $$$ on either a booster or the electricity to power it. Two thumbs way up!

Don’t overlook it, you might need it!

This is one of those items that you need to have around when you are planning to connect cables. It is cheap but it can be a lifesaver, being just what you need when you need it! If so, you will be glad you have it when the time comes.

Great for extending your wiring to electronics.

These are more difficult to use than one would think. If you have a locking wrench it would be easier. Function fine once installed. I used these to attach to an outdoor antenna. Had to stop working because of weather, so still need to do some more work on positioning the antenna. These were a life saver.
