SELECTING THE CORRECT EYEPIECE Always start viewing with your 25mm eyepiece. This is your low power eyepiece and its wide viewing field will make it easier to locate objects. Once you have located an object and the view is clear you may wish to change to the high power eyepiece.
3X BARLOW LENS It increases the power of telescope to let us easier to focus moon and stars.
FINDER SCOPE: Since a telescope has a narrow field of view by design, it can be challenging to LOCATE A PARTICULAR STAR or PLANET. For this reason the telescope is fitted with a low-power, wide-field miniature telescope called a finder scope.
What to look at in the night sky? - MOON, PLANETS, STARS Venus is covered with clouds. Mars is the red planet. Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system…Beyond our solar system there are many more objects to be found.
Note: Object in the finder scope are upside down. This is normal and is common to all astronomical telescopes.

Great for kids
My family and I have been spending lots of time outside under the stars with our telescope. My kids think it’s so cool to be able to see the moon and the stars. They have never seen something like that before so it’s exciting for them. I was surprised at how well you can all the stars and moon. This telescope comes with everything you need to be a star gazer 1 main telescope, 1 finder scope, 2 eye pieces 6mm and 25mm, 1 45° diagonal prism, 1 tripod. The different eye pieces are a low and high powered eye piece. The 25mm eye piece is the low powered and the 6mm is the high powered piece. The finder scope which is the small scope on the side of the big scope is to help find objects faster. When looking into the big scope you will see the objects you are looking at upside down but don’t panic thats the way the telescope works. When it arrived it was in pieces and I had to assemble it which didn’t take me long at all. If your looking for something to get your kids away from the t.v or to teach your kids or yourself about the solar system this would be a good telescope to buy live telescope is for amateurs or children so it’s best for those types of people. Nights outside with my kids looking at the stars is the best bonding time. We aren’t only spending time together but they are learning as well. The telescope is a very good quality and well made I was surprised at how good the quality was for being an amateur telescope.I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.’
Misleading picture
This telescope needs to be used with a TABLE. It stands so short, my 9 year old had a hard time using it even sitting on the ground . It did not come in a box from Amazon, just a sticker slapped on the original box. Came with all the pieces but that’s about it. Not sure on the quality of it becasue he we had a hard time setting it up a way to be comfortable to start to play with it.

It was no better than the naked eye
When this item was delivered it came in a box that had been opened and resealed with tape. It was the original GEERTOP box. That should have been a clue.
