You need a cycling cap, so it may as well look good. The Giro Peloton Cap keeps it classy with a time-tested fit and modern patterns. It’ll keep your hair in check and keep the sweat out of your eyes, so you can concentrate on dropping the hammer. Best of all, when you stop for coffee, everyone will know you actually ride. Consider it a modern twist on a time-tested essential. The Giro Peloton Cap is available in one size, and in the colors Camo/black/orange, Black/white/gray, and Red/white/gray.
This is a nice cycling hat. It is thin, stretchy, and contoured so it fits easily under a cycling helmet. I have a larger head (size 7.5) and it fits me fine (most cycling caps are too small for me), but it has elastic in the back so it should fit a smaller head as well. Sizing is a little larger than the Castelli hats, which are snugger and less comfortable on my head. The brim flips up or down for protection against sun or rain in various conditions. Poly fabric wicks and breathes much better than the old-style cotton caps. It doesn’t get soggy with sweat like cotton hats can on hot humid days. Good quality cotton caps can be bought for half this price, so you do have to decide if this one is worth it for your riding conditions.
It’s good, but the bill holds a lot of sweat. If you flip it down in sunny conditions, the sweat drips off pretty bad.
I understand that a cycling cap should be somewhat form fitting, but this is just ridiculous. I do not have a giant head, yet, this cap is just far too small for comfort. The size chart provided makes no sense, the item is listed as “one size” not “one size fits all” or “one size fits most” (the actual cap has that labelled), but one size… the size chart doesn’t even list that, so you’re pretty much left in the dark until you get it. I am also quite disappointed in the quality of brim\peak, its far way too flimsy. For the price of this item, you can find far better quality elsewhere on Amazon.
Love love love this cap! I just ordered another in white! Not too warm on hot days since the material wicks sweat from your head, but it also keeps the cool breezes off your head on chilly mornings. A win win! I also have sensitive skin, so the cotton caps bother my head - this one does not. I don’t even know I’m wearing it.
I’ve been wearing this cap for awhile. I was concerned it would be too hot in warmer weather, but it has been fine thus far (currently June in the northern hemisphere). I’ve been caught in the rain and the bill kept the worst of the water from dripping down the back of my glasses. The bill provides decent sun protection in the morning/evening when the sun is low on the horizon. The cap keeps my hair from poking through the helmet vents (don’t you hate that?), and best of all I don’t look like a pirate. What’s not to like?
Fit’s as expected. Doesn’t breath as much as they claim but that’s alright. Still does a good job and is made of quality material. Keeps the sweat out of my eyes which is the main reason I bought this. Also to keep the sun off my forehead so I don’t get crazy tan lines. It does its job and fits my head. I wear a 7 3⁄8 baseball cap.
This is my 3rd Giro Peloton Cap. They are light, dry fast and very comfortable. Great for summer and fit nicely under the helmet. I have very short hair so it also protects me from sunburn on long rides because of the helmet vents.
This an extremely comfortable and light weight mesh cycling cap. It’s not made out of cotton. Very well made and I like the design a lot. The only thing is that the little visor doesn’t prop up as easily as other cycling caps.
No problem fitting under helmet. Wicks away sweat nicely.
Great fit. I have a large head and this is one cap that doesn’t leave a line in my forehead after several hours.
Fits great and love the color
very good
Perfect cap for those hot sunny days and keeps the sun out of your eyes as well; main reason I bought it.
A little tight, but at least you can count on it staying on if you ride fast.
The only issue I have is the peak feels flimsy and out of the box it was already bent a little in one spot making it look a little wavy. So don’t sit on it or something
