It was a Wal-mart special and I straight up hated that thing
I managed to survive without a bike helmet for years. But then we had kids and my wife wanted them to wear helmets, so that meant that suddenly I was wearing a helmet too. It was a Wal-mart special and I straight up hated that thing. Hot, uncomfortable, goofy looking, and I never could get the straps adjusted so that it would stay where I wanted it.My kids are almost grown now, so I hardly ever (never) wear it anymore. A while back, a guy was riding near our neighborhood, was clipped by a car, and took a header into a street sign post. He was scuffed up, but basically ok, mostly because of the helmet. so when I bought a nice shiny new bike I thought that maybe I should get a helmet that I would actually wear.This helmet weighs almost nothing and has an adjusting knob on the headband so that I can get a proper fit, and after playing with the straps for a few minutes it stays where I want it.The only negative that I have is that it comes with a pad around the strap where it goes under the chin. Maybe it’s just the shape of my head or something, but because of where the buckle ends up, the pad actually sits on the side of my chin, rather than centered. I’m still playing with the adjustment, but will probably just end up taking the pad off and tossing it.I have no idea how long a bicycle helmet should last if you actually wear it, but if I get a year out of this then I’ll consider it money well spent and probably buy another one.
Unbelievable quality for the price
This helmet is very well constructed. It’s lightweight, sizeable and sturdy. I purchased 3 of these in a couple colors. Unbelievable price for the quality craftsmanship of the helmet.
Fashionable, well-fitting helm.
This is a beautiful, and more importantly, a great fitting helmet. For a larger, rounder head size, this helmet was perfect. I did pop something out of place initially, trying to jam my head into it, but, after realizing my mistake, and using the sizing dial (duh!), this baby fit like a glove. That fits well. Not one of those gloves that… doesn’t fit. And whatever it was I snapped out of place, snapped right back in, so, no harm, no foul. Now, I have yet to actually land on my head, so I can’t swear to the actual safety of this helmet, but in terms of fit and fashion–A+. And if I go out, at least it will be while looking good. :)Though… I am trusting this helmet will do its job, if called upon, of course!
Terrific helmet!
I love this helmet. It fits better and is more comfortable than anything else I’ve tried. I have a 7 ¼ head size and this helmet fit me perfectly, yet has enough room left so that I can wear a hat or visor under it. The dial sizing mechanism is easy to use, and it works perfectly. Ventilation is quite good. I wore it at 88 degrees, with a visor underneath, and still experienced good ventilation. Plus, I think it looks great.
Good looking helmet
Good looking helmet, fits well, great price. Gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the helmet didn’t come with a visor, which contradicts the product description (it used to say “with visor” when I bought it but I think the seller fixed the product description).
The helmet is cool. As in serious air flow across the head
Bought one last year. True story: my dog eat it. Really, ripped the inner lining out, munched on it and chewed on the inside wall. I can report no damage at all to the outside wall. As for the inside, well I ordered a new one. I went back to my order list, found what I had ordered, and re-ordered it.The helmet is cool. As in serious air flow across the head. It is comfortable as in I wear it all the time without whining. . Looks? Up to you. Black on yellow works for me, but then again I like bees.Its a helmet. It protects your head. It doesn’t cost too much. It has great air flow. We are not talking a kidney machine here.

This helmet definitely exceeds my expectations. I feel like I got a lot of quality for an exceptional price. The fit is great and I was pleased by the easy-to-follow directions for proper fit, etc. I feel like someone should tell all my fellow Michigan Wolverines fans about this helmet - great way to represent! Go Blue!
