My first GoPro Action Camera
This GoPro model fell short of 5 stars and I’ll tell you why…….Let me start by saying the last video camera I owned / purchased used an 8mm video cassette, so this was a huge leap in technology for me. I am not a GoPro expert, however before I purchased this GoPro HERO+ LCD I did some homework and visited the GoPro website and compared all the models they offered so I would know exactly what I was getting.I will say the pictures and video this little camera produces is impressive, but I am very disappointed that the camera itself cannot be removed from the housing. The GoPro website’s comparison chart indicated the battery was not removable, and I was ok with that, but said nothing about the housing. I assumed it was removable like the other models. Now I have to be extremely careful I don’t scratch or damage any part of the housing especially the lens. There’s no way to replace it. If I knew then what I know now I would have went for one of the HERO 4s. Live and learn.

i ordered this go pro and as i soon i started to test it to see how it works the camera kept saying camera busy and then when i tried to take a picture or record i wouldnt do either the capture button stopped working i just liiterally just opened it i wanted to take it on my scuba dives but that looks like it will never happen im so upset
Love it!
We love our GoPro. We took it on our Carribean Cruise in February and had a blast with it. We took amazing pictures and videos while scuba diving, snorkeling, riding the jet ski. Easy to use for us middle-agers who are not so tech-savvy.
Avoid this camera…
Would not recommend this camera. I have used this on and off for over a year… and it finally gave up the ghost and will not read a micro SD card for anything. These cameras use to be pretty high quality… but mine actually came apart while using it… from the back.. and I had to push the screen back into place.Now… Dec 1, 2016… this camera is continues to reboot… as what plagues a lot of GoPro cameras. Feel free too look that one fact up. Stay away and get a cheaper camera… fairly inexpensive and works just a good.

This camera is amazing and considering the cameras and video recorders of the 80’s and 90’s—this is a mighty little device. The view and images are sharp and clear and it’s nice to have the onscreen display. My only complaint is there’s no way to zoom either on the GoPro itself or the app required to view on your ipad or iphone. On your car’s side mirrors it states “Objects are closer than they appear”, but after mounting this camera only 10 inches away from our bird feeder, the birds appear farther away. Overall I’m happy with the GoPro Hero and would recommend this mighty, little camera.

Got this as a Christmas gift a year ago. Working great. Get lots of memory on your micro SD card as HD video takes up lots of space.
