Save your money, not really refurbished

Would not recommend purchasing from this seller. It is clearly not a certified refurbished camera. There was dirt, dust, and a pine needle inside the box on my GoPro when I opened it up. There were also small particles of dirt on the GoPro itself as well as the lens being dirty.Furthermore, after some use I continually got an SD ERR message. It was baffling. I am a very technologically savvy person and it took reflashing the entire camera as well as performing a wipe of the sd card from a Linux computer to allow any videos or pictures to be recorded. I lost countless videos and pictures because I did not realize that the GoPro was not recording.I will be contacting Amazon once I am home to see if I can return this and get either a new one or another refurbished model because for a “certified refurbished” model this is ridiculous. I would understand if this was a cheap Xiaomi Yi action camera or something similar but as this was a very large purchase I expected much more especially from both GoPro and Amazon. Unfortunately I will need to purchase another GoPro because I do drone photography and aerial video and my gimbal is only made for a GoPro otherwise I would stay away from the brand after this experience.In conclusion, I would highly recommend just getting another camera if you can or if you need a GoPro don’t waste your time with a “refurbished” model, just buy a new one to attempt to mitigate these issues.

This is my first GoPro experience

This is my first GoPro experience and I am pleased thus far - small, nice screen, easy to switch between video/photo mode and easy to review photos and video taken. I’ve only used in conjunction with an underwater diving housing and selfie stick to video to take video in the lagoon out back of my house however I anticipate doing much more with it. Pleased so far.

Just like new

My Girlfriend got me this for Christmas, she could have told me it was new and I would have believed her. Awesome camera and I plan in buying more gopros for our families off road adventures.

Easy to use, super convenient

Love it! Easy to use, super convenient. Haven’t had any issues with it. The package included the gopro in a waterproof case, along with 3 different connections and screws for various positioning and the clip to connect to a mount. Would recommend this to a friend.

Defaults pairing

This product I was hoping would be everything I heard about but I was sent a defrective product where the pairing with my iPhone didn’t work . Which cost me 2 days on the phone with GoPro buying additional products to try to get it to pair in the end having to send it to GoPro so they can fix it

Got this older model on purpose to work with 3DR Solo drone. Wish I had bought one sooner, imagine all the models are this good.

Bought it specifically to use on a trip to Iceland and to use in a 3DR Solo drone. Worked great in the cold/wet/snow/ice of Iceland (IN the plastic case) and worked great strapped to my 3DR (using the gimbal designed for the GoPro Hero). Nothing to futz with, just hit the button and take your video. Super wide is a little fish-eyed, but color, focus, audio were all great. Edited using iMovie with no issues.

Really should be a no star. Got a hero 3 instead and never checked it before I gave it to my wife for xmas. Returned it for a refund.

HOW DO I RETURN?????????????VERY FRUSTRATED……Bought this for my son, used 4 times and now it won’t come on or do anything.

Basically brand new

This GoPro came packaged to me like it would if I bought brand new it from the store. Everything is in excellent condition. Have not had any problems and have no complaints.

I took extremely good care of it

This camera died after only 4 months of use. I took extremely good care of it, never exposed it to the elements and stored it in a protective case.

Bought this referbished crap from the New York one and it was all a waste of time. It’s not the go pro that’s pictured. It’s some one off copy that won’t even come out of the case.
