Saved my camera!
Two 22 meter dives and the camera never got wet.. This was after dropping it on concrete from waist height. (no visible damage)Only took the camera out of this case to look at pictures and change the battery.Sound and optics are great even with this on. (I’m not sure the underwater filters will fit over this though, they seem to be missing the grooves)

Great case
The only problem with this case has more to do with the camera; you need to remove the cover of the front lens to use it, and doing that is not very intuitive. besides this problem it’s a great case, awesome for diving, with no impact on video or photo quality

It’s great. The only thing I don’t like about it is that you have to remove the original lens to install this. I don’t leave it in this case so I have to switch the lens cap too often. Otherwise, it offers great protection for the GoPro.
Works perfectly
This works perfectly. I had to wait for this because I had a dive to 100 ft and the hero 5 is only good to 33 ft alone. I placed the driers and never had any issues. Pictures are clear and the case isn’t bulky.
Beware. Water came in while diving starting from 14 …
Beware. Water came in while diving starting from 14 meters. As I went down, water slowly came in and therefore the final video was worthless. Thankfully in this occasion the camera did not suffer mayor damages, I was able to dry it and use it again.
Must-have for Hero5 Water and Action Activities
I wish this came standard with the Hero5, but, unfortunately, it does not. Fork over your $50 and use this handy protective case scuba diving, surfing, cliff-diving, etc. Love it!
Does what it should
Suits it’s purpose. Nearly indestructible
Does not seal out water well at all
Used this for the first time and it does not have a good seal. My GoPro 5 black had water inside the camera lens and I only used it in 6ft of water.

We bought the new hero5 black for a trip to the Bahamas. Needed housing for diving, which this was advertised for.
Needs a redesign.
