Happy Birdwatcher Mother

Bought as a gift for birdwatching obsessed mother….. she has been sending pictures to me on the regular, of shots she never could’ve captured before.She attaches her cell phone to her binoculars. She says it is hard to touch the capture button without making the phone jiggle, resulting in a blurry picture. Despite this she seems to get decent pics. She has learned to use the video feature; it is far less sensitive to shuddering and blur. Then she can isolate still pictures from the video.She has snapped pics of a rare thrush, snow goose and trumpeter swan, that are not common in our area and needed proof that she actually identified them correctly. They were all too far out to make an ID without the combination of phone zoom and binoculars.It is nearly March and there isn’t a week that goes by that she doesn’t show me new pictures. Her skill with the unit is improving. She does not that it takes some time to set up.

Nice! Had a few issues with the Bluetooth remote at first, but Gosky very quickly responded and kept checking back in to make certain everything was working as it should,..so Excellent 5 stars to Gosky customer service! As far as the quality of the adapter, very nice, heavy duty, great build, very functional. Easy to set up and attach phone, I have iPhone 6s with a Rokform profusion case and it fits perfectly. As far as the Bluetooth remote, it works like a charm after Gosky customer service rep got me straightened out. Excellent overall experience! A+

It works quite nicely.

I was a little skeptical about this device, but I found it to do a stand up job. You obviously have to get it oriented to your eyepiece, but once I did, I took some good shots through my telescope with this. I even used my camcorder with it.If I have one knock, it would be that the plastic does obstruct some of the field of view. If using a wide field lens to view a large or nearby object, like the sun or moon, you may not get the entire view of the object. Other than that, I’m happy with this product.

Will work well with my spotting scope for birdwatching from inside the car.

Works as expected. I got this for bird watching from inside the car. If you are using binoculars you will need to lean in at a somewhat awkward angle but it works. It works well with my 50 mm Celestron spotting scope and a 40 mm Orion monocular. I have not tried it with a camera but I am confident it will be fine.It is quite secure on the window and the twist lock works just like a camera tripod. Its a keeper!

Works as advertised. Bonus, you can unscrew the phone holder from the clamp and have a stand alone phone holder for a tripod.

Fits our scope and we’ve got great pictures.

Once we got the right size, works well to see the deer out in our back pasture. This is used for a sighting scope and everyone enjoys it. The only issue is it tends to fall backwards slightly so you have to hold it in the angle we need. This makes it difficult to get a good picture from the shaking of hands holding it.

Allows me to use my Android S7Edge phone with many different Scopes and Binoculars.

Clever design, works great with two different Zeiss Spotting Scopes and a Samsung S7Edge in a case. The Zeiss Scopes are a 20x60 Image Stabilized Monocular and a 30x60 BGAT Mirror Optic. It also fits the Zeiss 8x56 binoculars and Leica 10x42 binoculars. The Bluetooth remote works great too.
