this item worked great out of the box and easy to setup
i purchased this so that i can connect my xbox one x and my computer to my computer monitor.this item worked great out of the box and easy to setup!you do need a 5v power supply for this ( phone charger works here)there is a IR receiver for the remote controller on a long wire so you can hide the hdmi switch box this kit also come with a 3M double sided tape so you can position receiver anywhere you want!this switch also detects the port that is powered and automatically switches it that port without having to use the remote controller / the built in button on the switch
Good product
Quite the product I needed, quick connection, no problem, and my two TVs work wonderfully, I recommend.As in the description, it is necessary that the sources are lit, in order to feed it. It takes little place is easy to install.The product does very well what it is intended for. I strongly recommend and plan to recommend another one for another TV.
Excellent product does exactly what I wanted
Purchased this for our media center. Works great switching between Wii, PS4, and blu-ray player - has not made a mistake picking the input yet, therefore I haven’t gotten a chance to use the remote. Quality of video and audio is the same as the original, no issues. Status lights are useful and meaningful - no way to disable the lights but not too bright for me. All in all a very nice unit.
no manual book but easy to set up
My TV is old model with only two HDMI ports. There is no available port for my new TV box(for Asian channel). I looked for the switch everywhere. I found the similar product in frys with much higher price, so this price is fair. It doesn’t disappoint me. It is very easy to set up; convenient to remote control; perfect sized fits my table. I am satisfied with it so far. RECOMMEND!
This thing is great and the remote feature is definitely a huge bonus
I needed a cheap HDMI switch for my projector (it’s an older version with only one HDMI port), so I could hook up my laptop and my PS4. This is a second HDMI switched I purchased. The first being a 3 to 1 wired version without a remote control. It worked fine, but the fact that there is a remote control makes life a lot easier after the initial set up. As some of the other reviewers mentioned, It will auto detect the unit that is turned “on”, if more than 1 unit connected is turned on the remote comes in super handy.The unit is easy to use and as technology goes I expected nothing less for this to perform as intended. Recommended!
This switch is perfect for the job
The HDMI switch came in well designed package. The spliiter was very easy to connect up to my TV (I was aware from other reviews that there are no cables with the splitter itself) It was up and running within minutes and the remote control makes switching between the various inputs very simple, if the automatic process doesnt trigger when a new device is switched on. A well designed piece of kit that makes life so much easier. I would recommend spending a bit more and getting the version with the infrared remote control. Very happy with this purchase
Great Product for use with HDMI devices
Works exactly as described. I have a Smartbox and a Blu-Ray player connected, and it automatically switches between the two as it detects they have been switched on. In the event that both devices are on, there is a remote control supplied so that you can switch manually.Picture quality appears to be unaffected so - all-in-all - an excellent buy!
