SOLID is an understatement.
This stand is well constructed with thick tubing (1 3⁄8” - 1 1⁄2” thick). Top plate is removable & everything locks together nicely. Weighs in at 11 pounds! If only it had a locking pin for the plate, you could stand on it (not recommended), but otherwise without a doubt stand should hold just about anything you can put on it. Stand is no joke and makes me chuckle when I see it. Love it!
Absolutely perfect!
We have an old Panasonic data projector, the kind you would have normally mounted from the ceiling or something. It does not have the female threaded receptacle for camera tripods, and would probably be too heavy for those anyway.This stand is perfect! It’s heavy duty, easy to set up and take down, portable…and its platform for the projector is just the right size. This is a very well-made product!
Really sturdy, well-built stand for 40 dollars
This is a surprisingly solid stand. 40mm diameter steel lower members and a 35mm diameter upper section. The tray is really well built - steel sheet measures out slightly thicker than 16ga with a steel clamp. The two lower clamps are plastic. The lower section is similar to the Pyle speaker stand. On my order, the tether which retains the lock pin was torn and the pin was rolling around in the packaging. I couldn’t see shipping this back to Amazon, so I bought a section of steel chain at Home Depot for $0.75. I use this stand to hold my 15.6” laptop while I train on my indoor trainer - it works great.
If you get a good one, they’re very good
Ours arrived with the laptop tray base mis-welded, so the tray and anything placed on it lay at a comical angle. We contacted Hola! and had a pleasant E-Mail exchange, with zero result. We may take the risk and try to “cold set” (bend) the thing straight, but expect that will break it.We ordered a second one and, while it was heavily damaged in shipping, the laptop tray is at least straight. Hola!? More like, Adios!

I work at home a lot and I have a relatively-heavy developer laptop. I bought this so I could stand sometimes when I’m working, and this stand is very solid and adjustable. I got it set to a nice height and I just leave it in an empty corner until I need it, but it can be folded up easily as well. Bonus: I can use it to work on my laptop while my bike is hooked to a trainer inside for those bad weather days.
Needed Adjustments to Work as a Projector Table.
The unit is sturdy, highly adjustable and works well for my intended application as a projector stand. The surface was not level (side to side) and had to be carefully bent to get it level. Probably not an issue if it is used as a laptop stand, but as a projector stand, it was off by about 4 degrees. It is professional in appearance and heavier than expected. The lip on the on the surface is a good design feature.

Just got it, and definitely seems SOLID and well made!thought perhaps I might be able to use it with some of my photo gear (strobes, lights, reflectors, etc), tho the top pole portion is a chunky thick 1.5” diameter, which appears ideal for speakers, not photo gear . But that’s ok, this stand will definitely work well for what it’s designed to do.
Strong, stable, solid
This is one solid stand. Great to use for so many applications including for a video projector, a laptop streaming video, or anything requiring a STABLE base. Of course it will hold sheet music as well.

Okay, it actually is a very good quality stand. Very impressive, but then again you get what you pay for. Glad I spent a little more on this than the pyle brand cheaper stand.
Great multi-purpose stand
Ordered this hoping it would work as a projector stand for a super 8mm sound projector. Surface plate the exact size and when tilted horizontal, works perfect.

It is sturdy and lightweight
I attached a projector and cable box to use on my deck. It is sturdy and lightweight. I can move it easily and quickly if a storm comes. I very happy with this purchase.
