I hate screen protectors

Let me start out by saying I absolutely detest screen protectors. I have never been able to put them on without bubbles or dust, and my hands are always too shakey to line things up properly. Since the screen of the switch contacts the dock as it slides in, I knew that I would have to put on a protector of some sort to avoid scratches. I ordered this protector, and dreaded putting it on.Hori’s application process is flawless, I have never had this easy of a time getting a professional result on a screen protector. The 4 step process let me anchor it down perfectly (even with my shakey hands), and get it stuck on without any air bubbles. Would not hesitate to buy any of their screen protector products again.

Great, easy to apply protector

Excellent cover. Is as easy to apply as requested. I couldn’t get the link for the video to work, so I’d recommend looking for it on youtube. Basically you remove the number one tab, use that to apply the screen, then pull the 2 off from back side while the pad is stuck on device with sticky pad from #1. Then, you pull 3 from the back as the 2 side has made things stick. Then, you smooth the bubbles and remove the front-facing 4 pad.Very nice pad overall.

This has a unique application method that made it a bit confusing even with the instructions. I looked up the vid and it was easy after seeing it. The unique application method helps to reduce the amount of dust you grt under it when applying. I like the protector and havent had any issues with it peeling from heat. I typically play zelda for a few hrs at a time.

The best

Pre-ordered for day 1 protection for my Switch console and I am floored with how well this looks on the screen. It took me a bit to figure how to put it on based off directions, but once I got the steps it went on quick and easy. I had a can of compressed air to make sure all dust was off my screen before applying. Looks great and seems to be holding up well after several days and long play sessions.

Great screen protector

Was worried because of the negative reviews for the premium one, but the standard $10 is fine.Has the same amazing applicator process as the previous consoles’ HORI protectors. You get some leeway on positioning it with step one to try multiple times. It’s plastic, not tempered glass. Finger prints do show up on it but easy to clean. Didn’t get any dust under it and air bubbles were all fixable.Would definitely recommend just for the applicator making it easy. No worries on positioning it right the first time.

Works good so far

Works good so far. Took it off and on several times because lint got under and still stuck down okay. Haven’t had heat issues with it peeling yet like some friends had. Will update if any issues arise.

I ordered 2 because I’m so bad at them

Incredibly simple to install, I am awful at screen protectors and I got this one on with zero bubbles first try. I ordered 2 because I’m so bad at them, and I didn’t even need the second these things are so easy.

Not the best option

I snagged this because it was officially licensed by Nintendo and looked to be the best option at launch. Within one month the screen protector already has scratches (looks like it’s from the dock). Just ordered a pair of tempered glass for the same price I paid for this.

Best screen protector ever

The Hori application method makes this screen protector a great product. Their method allowed me to place it on perfectly with no dust or bubbles whatsoever.

Easy to install but I was unable to get the protector on without dust underneath.

Questionable QC

Arrived with two huge pieces of dust stuck on the adhesive layer of the screen protector which was visible through the blue protective plastic sheet.

Waste of money

Save your money and get the other options for tempered glass screen protectors. The rag that came with this ended up putting more dust and dirt on the screen.

Worse than using no screen protector. The screen has enough static electricity that dust clings to it, making it almost impossible to apply without trapping dust under the screen.
