Playstation 4’s new “Killer App” If you own one you owe it to yourself to play this game

Dont often get review codes but for some reason GG and Sony were very loose and eager to do so and i can see why.The game is maybe the most technically achieving console production i have ever seen, its not only gorgeous but runs great on a standard PS4. I am also a pc gamer and let me tell you this game from a visual standpoint blew me away.Many compare this to far cry, some go as far to call it a reskin of such and while sure certain aspects that are found if FC and other open world games can also be found here some of the mechanics or gameplay functionalities feel evolved, smarter and more intuitive. This game handles those similar functionalities faster, smarter and more enjoyable due to it.Not many open worlds do side quests right, i assume is difficult to strike a good balance without overwhelming the player, some devs add stuff in the game for the sake of more things to do but dont put much tlc into such thus the content sometimes ends up feeling dull and repetitive. Zero Dawn does side quests in a way where it feels meaningful and while icons still scatter about the map i felt more inclined to do most of it because many were or felt dynamic in a sense and came into play as far as the main mission is concerned. NPCS notice if you “did or didnt do the thing” and the dialogue will reflect it.I think my review is not very relevant due to you being able to watch tons of videos and proper reviews already in the wild so i will wrap this up, if you own a PS4 you owe it to yourself to play this game.Forget to mention, the story .. I was content with having a gorgeous open world game with great combat and atmosphere, i didnt expect the story to be good, expected average at best and the story ended up being one of this games strong suits.Wont spoil the story BUT the game does something else thats rare, a proper ending with closure while still opening the door just wide enough for a second installment. The Story is solid, Good Voice acting and Great writing are main contributors to why i found myself getting goosebumps on several occasions.I dont wish for dlc often BUT i want more.Currently this is PS4’ S “killer app”I ended up buying a copy off of here because they earned my money and will be covering this game and feel like i can be completely transparent in terms of not being biased due to getting a free versionFeel free to ask me anything, More than happy to fill you in.i have at least 40 hours into this game and i Adore it.Read the comment bellow for more details about the side missions, in depth critique and how this game handles open world tropes if you wish

This Game is Consuming MY LIFE!!!!

When you think about a game all day at work or when you lay down to go to sleep it makes me compelled to write something in the review thread about it. I’ve never wrote a review about a game until now, yet I base my purchases largely off of the Amazon reviews/comments, etc. I want to start of saying how I am also a very narrow minded gamer, I admit it. What I mean is that when I get too overwhelmed or frustrated, I bail. I like linear games that I can finish in my lifetime so I can feel that I accomplished something. I enjoy immersing myself in an endless world where I can do anything and go anywhere but I get overwhelmed at the complexity and detail involved with potion mixing/mods/crafting, etc. Not knocking those that enjoy is, it’s just not me. Then along came this game. I have been consumed. All I can say is that if you are a true gamer, you know the answer is obvious, but if you are a gamer that is like me, part-timer, hard to impress, gives up when overwhelmed or over challenged…..BUY THIS GAME and you won’t regret it. It is challenging and overwhelming in all the right ways!

Superior open world gaming with an intriguing storyline.

Omigosh, what a great game!! Great open world environment with plenty of options on game play. At first, I wasn’t sure I’d be crazy about the fact that Aloy’s (our brave female protagonist here) main weapon, and the one she must prove very proficient at, is one or more bows using arrows with variant payloads (fire, shock, etc.), but as the player progresses, you get more and more comfortable using the bow(s), and it is soon like your hand, it just feels natural using it. There are player choices in reacting to NPC’s, and you can progress in your own way to some extent, though there are main quests that need to accomplished if the player is to progress in earning skill points so you can improve Aloy’s traits in the built-in skill tree. The deadly machines become more and more challenging to kill, and the mystery surrounding Aloy’s origin and background, which is slowly developed through the complicated but intriguing storyline makes the player want to know more. I’m about 28% through the game now, and won’t put it away until I’ve completed it. Good for hours and hours of outstanding gameplay; highly recommended. Hope they will later offer some add-on DLC’s to keep a good thing going.

Programme running issues

This game is beautiful, challenging and addictive for every gaming junkie. I purchased Digital copy from PS store and I started facing screen freeze issues.

One of my favorite games of all time alongside Zelda breath of the wild. The graphics and story line are all amazing. Highly recommend
