Not bad for light use.

So, based on my predominantly viewing-oriented usage (streaming video for the most part) it’s a good case and the price when I bought it in July of 2015 ($9.99) was very good. Keeping in mind that you get what you pay for I guess six to seven months usage before the plastic started falling apart isn’t too bad. I am very careful with my tablet and have never dropped it on a non-carpeted floor (and then only once or twice on a carpeted floor) and I always checked it after any type of impact but the deterioration I noticed always appeared unrelated to any impacts. So glad I got this one for cheap instead of paying …

So glad I got this one for cheap instead of paying $40 for an identical one at best buy or target. I’m a student and always have my tablet in my backpack which tends to get thrown around a bit. I haven’t had any issues with damage due to force/drops. Corner protection is good and the cover works fine. I bought a tri-pod tablet stand from another website for about $15 so I can use the tablet in portrait mode but still standing up, which makes it easier for typing things at a desk/table. The standard folding mechanisms in the cover work fine. Only thing to watch out for is, because certain areas of the cover/back have magnets in them to make “sticking” in a triangle formation easier, the magnet can also turn off your screen if you pass it behind the camera. So don’t slide the cover along the back, lift & fold it.

While the Tan case works nicely, it was not the style pictured but instead …

I bought 2 of these cases for Christmas. The Tan Map and the White Map designs. While the Tan case works nicely, it was not the style pictured but instead the sleeve style which I actually prefer over the clip in style. The White one, which was the one for me, worked great and was the clip in style pictured. However I then noticed that the corners were breaking away, mind you I had never dropped this tablet. Suddenly last night the one final little piece that was holding my tablet into the case finally just fell off, almost causing me to drop the tablet luckily it slipped into my stomach and was able to catch it. So while some versions of this were good, they were only the versions that aren’t pictured here. The clip in style may seem nice but they break far to easily and leave your tablet in danger of falling when they do.

I really like the case I like the way it looks on …

I really like the case I like the way it looks on my tablet but there is no space for my pen that comes with my tablet when I need my pin I have to take my tablet out of the case to get my pen and then put my tablet back in the case to use my case. There should have been a little hole or something for my pin so I can take my pen out and put it back in .

Great case for the price

This case has a sturdy and very minimal look to it, which I like about it a lot. It’s easy to snap my tablet into the case and feel certain that it won’t get scratched or collect dirt while using it or placing it in my backpack. The cover might click on the home button of the galaxy tablet but it shouldn’t turn it on regardless. The foldable cover is a plus, but was hoping it would have more various ways to hold my tablet horizontally at different angles than just two. Holding the tablet vertically would’ve been really nice as well. A solid case for the price nonetheless.

Not Stable

Unfortunately it did not meet my expectations for stability. To easy to tip over and only one way to prop it up. Tried to exchange for a different one but Amazon would only let me return it and with postage and handling it cost almost the same as the cost of the tablet. It was my gault as I saw it fit the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 and didn’t go further to look for a more stable product.

No Durability

The case was excellent for the first 2 months or so, after which the plastic “cradle” which holds the tablet began to crack and break without ever being dropped or mishandled in any way. In addition, one of the magnets that holds the cover flap closed fell out. It is a well-fitting lightweight case, but is simply not made in a manner that will hold up for any length of time. Save your money and try another manufacturer’s product line.

Great Case Terrible Stand

This was purchased for my new Galaxy Tab A 9.7. The cover seems fine, clips in well and all the cut outs are perfect. The design and graphics also look very good. Where the cover is not good is when standing it up for table top viewing. The tri fold is not very strong so consequently when you move or bump the tablet is falls down or the triangle wont hold its position needing to be readjusted. In short as a cover it works great, as a stand it’s a cracked screen waiting to happen. These trifold cases are my preferred style of slim case and I have had many over the years, this one is not so good. I ended up with the Samsung OEM book cover, which performs excellently.
