Noise cancellation for clear calls
Color:Snow White HP Roar Mini Wireless Speaker: White Attention-getting design, color, and sound. Colorful style meets serious sound
Connected very quickly with my old iPhone 5S that I’ve been using as my iPod and place where I follow the podcasts that I love. I also store music on it and things like that. This speaker I got at a ridiculously great price from a sale or something and I wasn’t expecting much to be quite honest. However, I was pleasantly surprised! This speaker plays the high highs and the lowest lows. It doesn’t have too much bass, but just enough that it makes a difference. It produces rich sound in a tiny package. I haven’t tried playing it yet without it plugged in (because I haven’t needed to), but I can’t wait to use it for the holidays at work. The only downside is that one is given very little instruction about pairing and things like that. If I didn’t have other mini bluetooth speakers in the past, I wouldn’t have known and would have had to look it up. It’s simple, but a little clear instruction makes a difference. All in all, I would ABSOLUTELY suggest this speaker to others and may buy another in the near future for my kid.
I needed a portable bluetooth speaker and choose this, mainly because it was orange.I have to say it took me around 4 hours to get the speaker connected to my pc. Well, maybe 3 minutes to get it connected, but then 4 hours to get sound to come out. Turns out the pairing is fine and seamless. Getting the sound to come out of them is another thing completely.I searched high and low for answers but ran across a solution which described the problem in terms of an ACER pc. Just so happens, I have an Acer. So, I re-downloaded the latest bluetooth drivers from Acer (which were dated years ago) but that did the trick. Now I can take my speaker all over the house and outside and have my music or tv show playing. I really love it.Oh, and I am not sure any of the problems I had were HP’s fault. Just one of the glitches I guess.
In a world where there’s no shortage of any electronic gizmo - I was pleasantly surprised by the general quality and durability of the HP Roar. It’s great for road warrior travel and sounds much better than the alarm clock iHome things that I encounter so often. As to the sound specifically, with a little EQ adjustment, everything from podcasts to jazz sound solid. The bass response is thin (but let’s be serious here) the HP Roar is tiny and that to expect more go back to head phones. Personally, this makes working in my hotel room a much better experience.
Great little speaker. Don’t expect booming sound, but much better than a phone, plus it has a mic as well for phone calls. Overall, very happy. I take it with me on business trips, and play music too loud in the morning and irritate my neighbors. ;)
This is my second mini speaker. Powerful sound and good clarity. Perfect for night stand or on your desk at work. Bluetooth works great. Durable and modern design. Small speaker, big sound! Well pleased!
I did not get to test this one much over time, as I bought it as an Xmas present and it was out of my hands within a week. During that week, my expectations were met in terms of attractiveness, functionality, and quality of components. The sound was good, but perhaps slightly below my expectations for it based on prior reviews, and there seemed to be some subtle distortion which I could never verify as being a real issue or not. My sister has seemed to be happy with it however, and I’ve not heard of any issues since it left my possession.
Great speakers - good sound quality and portable.
I bought this to take on a long trip and be able to play the music from my phone when I was staying at airbnb’s. What I didn’t know is how handy it would be on trips in the car where there is no radio service. I rented a car in New Zealand and am not getting much in the way of radio stations. We turn on one of our phones and we have tunes. Not the greatest speaker, but I was not expecting that. It keeps a charge, we can use it for 2 or 3 days in the car without recharging.
Excellent device with a good sound features
Love the sound and quality yet so compact!
Nice sound. However, don’t expect too much from such a small speaker.
The small size was its main draw for me and as long as you’re not listening at very high volumes, the sound is just fine.
Great speaker for the price!
I needed an portable external speaker for my iPhone.I’m impressed by the sound. The speaker enclosure is well built. Had no problem pairing the Bluetooth with my iPhone .
I received this as a gift, and I couldn’t be happier with it!I was actually shopping for speakers here on Monday, was still considering, then I got this oneMy first…
