Light control: When daylight begins the light source will turn off; meanwhile, the solar panels will charge the batteries. When there is no sunlight the garden light will switch on.
Size:10A LCD Description: This controller is an intelligent and multifunctional solar charger controller. These serial products adopt customized LCD display screens, which make operations on the interface rather convenient. All of the controlling parameters can be reset to satisfy user needs. Specifications: Rated Working Current: 10A Rated Working Voltage: 12V/24V Solar Input Voltage: <55V OverVoltage Protection: 17V; ×2/24V Float Charging Voltage (adjustable): 13.8V; ×2/24V Over-discharge Recovery Voltage: 12.6V; ×2/24V Charging Recovery Voltage: 13.2V; ×2/24V Max. Voltage At The Battery End: <35V No Load Loss: <10mA /12V; <12mA/24V Temperature Compensation: -3mV/°C /2V Dimensions: 4.06 x 2.80x 1.42 In Weight: 3.5 Oz Key Features: 12V/24V system voltages are automatically recognized. An upgraded 3-stage PWM charging algorithm is adopted. Application of an equalizing charging to the battery periodically or when over discharged, can effectively prevent the battery from non-equalization and sulfuration, thus extending the battery’s service life. With temperature compensation employed, charging parameters can be automatically adjusted. A wide range of load working modes facilitate the product’s application to different types of street load. The product provides overcharge, over-discharge, overload protection, as well as short-circuit and reverse-connection protection. By virtue of an advanced load starting method, large-capacitance loads can be started smoothly. The product provides a dot matrix graphic LCD screen and a human-machine interface with a key. The user-friendly design of browser and dynamic interfaces ensures convenient and intuitive operations. Boasting an industrial grade design, the product can function well in various tough conditions. TVS lighting protection is adopted.
Wow. I really like this. I set it up to keep a small battery charged to run a water pump in my greenhouse. I hooked up a couple small panels and plugged in a USB hub to attach USB powered / charged LED lights.I learned about the settings afterwards and found it very useful. You can set it for always power the load or power the load of 1 to sever hours after charging stops. I set it to recharge the LED batteries after the sun sets.I’m thinking of getting a second for another greenhouse.
Been solar charging for about fifteen years, this controller does everything. Settings for all batteries and voltages, turns programable lights on at dark. Reads AMPS from solar panel, four stage charging. I’m ordering another as a backup, can’t go wrong with this controller!
I bought and installed two of these units on two different camp trailers. Both are WORKING GREAT after several weeks of use with a 100W panel.I like the features. I wish there was a way to manually cycle through the settings on the screen instead of staring at it.
This charge controller is doing exactly what I purchased it to do. I like the display and find it very informative. I added the whole compliment of Bayite meters (panel to controller, controller to battery and battery to load) so that I can watch a dizzying array of measurements. This is my first foray into solar and I’ve learned a lot. Maybe if I had it to do over, I would have gone bigger, but that’s not the controller’s fault.
I used this to replace a failed charge controller on my 100w portable suitcase panel. It’s working just fine, I have had no problems with it.
I am very pleased with this controller. Great information given on the screen display. Never question the depth of discharge again because the battery percentage is always on the first screen. No need for separate volt and amp meters because it’s all there on the home screen. Already planning on getting a second one to run parallel.
I have 3 of theses and all 3 work great, no problems with any. Only negative is the USB only works with flooded batteries so I had to buy a dc to dc to get a usb charging port
For the price this controller is awesome, I bought it as a temporary solution but it has been rock solid. Only downside it is does not have programmable stages aside from float. Would be nice to change bulk and absorption charge levels as well
It was a pretty crappy charger that never charged my batteries past 12.4 volts. Also, it’s positively grounded, just in case you missed that.
It’s Ok I like it but it come on at night only. There may be an adjustment butWe couldn’t find it.
Useful displayed information, easy to set up it.Will be good if it has illuminated display.
Easy to use and install.
Great quality. Very acurate.
works perfectly
I hooked it up according to the instructions and it worked. 48v monopoly panel, 12v system,
Like it works as it should. Gave 4⁄5 because I had to look the manual up online because it didn’t come with one.
This does a great job. It has large holes to accommodate the wiring, prevents overcharging, and internal diodes to prevent reverse draining when its dark.
