This upgrade makes it far easier to put the headset on and much quicker to adjust it to different people’s head sizes when taking turns. Included headphones sound great and can flip up out of the way if not needed. This makes the Vive as easy to use as the Oculus

Deluxe audio head strap is a must!!!
Holy Hannah Montana!! By far my biggest complaint with the Vive has been how ridiculously uncomfortable the original head strap can be for extended play. It drove me crazy. I even did the whole modded headset from a welder helmet and that worked well for a while, but micro adjustments were still a pain, and it never fit “just right”. Well let me tell you, it’s been a long time in the making, but I can finally enjoy the Vive the way it was meant to be played. The deluxe audio head strap is an absolute must for anyone that needs comfort and wants the convenience of the integrated audio. I really believe anyone that has invested the money into a Vive and the typical $1000 PC, should absolutely own this. So stop reading this review and just buy it already.
Totally worth the money!
This upgrade makes your Vive experience INFINITELY better and more comfortable. With the old strap, my neck and face were hurting after 15-20 minutes.. the neck aches were bad.. With the strap, the neck discomfort has disappeared, and now I can comfortably use the Vive for 1-2 hours without a problem. The audio works very well, and will fit the needs of most users. Many have said that quality is not great, but I disagree. For being a pair of small integrated headphones, the quality is great for games and general use. I’m a musician and have no complaints.You won’t regret having it… it is nice to use, and will pay for itself with the gift of comfort it will provide you.Remember that generation 2 Vive is a while away, 1-2 years at least. Spend the money and enjoy your gen 1 device, because its gonna be around for a while.
