Cheaper but tough.
I got these hoping for a very rugged, waterproof anti-glare binocular set. It definatly covers those topics. I have not yet been able to test it at super long distances because i reside in the city and i got these for camping/hunting trips. The digital camp is cool but clearly a decal or something. When i opened mine, the rubber lip around one of the outer lens covers just came off and was not supposed too. luckily i had some rubber adhesive and i resealed it. i dripped a little on the side and in the split second it took me to pipe off the dripping glue, the camp pattern was wiped of with it. just a small spot on the inside where my palm would go so i am not too upset. the lanyard and lens cap is total crap, not study and just get in the way, i replaced the lanyard with OD Green para-cord, much better off. the carry case is actually alright. not totally waterproof but whatever. the anti-glare coating on the lens is described as red, but came as green, I’m defiantly okay with that too. will update once i go out into the field with these.
