Works well for the price. Protects my investment.
Doesn’t fit super snug, but I feel it will prevent scratches and guard from damage. It also does not have a whole lot of grip, compared to some silicone rubber phone cases. This almost feels a bit powdery and soft. I feel like the gray color keeps it from looking to gimmicky, compared to the red and blue. A black option would have also been nice.Holes line up fine. You will have to detach the area where the cords go into the headset so you can fully get the cover on.READ MORE
Peace of mind with this on the HMD, now I want the controllers ones.
Nothing to nitpick, does its purpose well, hmd grips for easier now and is protected from those bumps of vive motes meeting its matte surface.Quality of the precision making for the sensors also proved me to get the skins for controllers and are getting prepped for shipping as I speak. Get it at discounted price though, I cant seem to let the fact its 20 bucks through. 10 would be way fair for the price. Im sure manuf. costs are at a dollar here and paid back for the development week after it was let out in the market.READ MORE
Protect your Vive to keep it alive
If you own a Vive I highly recommend Hyperskin. I am pretty careful with my headset but, on occasion, I have bumped it off a wall when I got too close and this skins helps soften the blow for your headsets well being. Very easy to put on and it fits very well. To put it on the headset itself, you will need to disconnect the power and usb cables and run the skin the length of those wires back to the headset, not a difficult process at all. I’m amazed how this skin is so prefect. Even after stretching it over the Vive, there’s just no looseness. It’s thin enough that it doesn’t obstruct the sensors but thick enough that it won’t get scratched or scraped. Perfect solution for protecting your expensive HMD.READ MORE
