Good wall plate, better with a bit of knowledge

Seems to work, though I would suggest getting a backless bracket. I tried putting this in the typical electrical bracket and the wire doesn’t want to flex as much as typical copper wiring. Thinking about it now I should have known, but it is good to keep in mind for the next time. They do sell low voltage boxes that have open backs that are perfect (orange in color at the hardware store)

It was easy to install, I simple cut a hole for a Low Voltage Mounting Bracket - wall mount plate. Then I screwed on the HDMI port with the provided screws and then plugged in the HDMI Cable that I routed from the basement to the back of this wall plate. Finally after it was installed I plugged in a HDMI cable from the wall plate to my television and it was good to go.This HDMI wall plate is made of a really good quality and is very sleek and great for all uses.Once I turned on my television i had one slight problem, my television said invalid format, I don’t think it was anything to do with thy port but I simply used another display, changed the resolution on my DVR and reconnected it to my television and I was good to go.Overall this is a really modern way to connect am HDMI device from another room. I have really loved the final outcome and will order more in the future when needed.
